The bathhouse offers hot showers, a flush toilet, and sink. The open pole barn has a deluxe camping kitchen set up with pots and pans, a propane stove, a coffee maker, and a dishwashing sink. There is also a dining table and chairs. While the property is close and convenient to Chattanooga, once you are enjoying the serene woods, shady trees, starry nights, and quality time with family and friends you will forget all about the city! While there are no full-time residents on the property, there is a small functioning horse farm about 100 yards from the camping area. There are views everywhere you drive. When arriving, look for the white mailbox labeled 456 and turn in between that and the 456 sign on the ground (solar lighted). It is a long gravel driveway. Entrance is wide enough for 40 ft rigs.

The Sanctuary offers an unparalleled experience where nature meets comfort, allowing you and your group to unwind and reconnect with the tranquil surroundings. We have added multiple tree swings throughout the forest. We are uniquely situated on the edge of the Tennessee Cumberland Plateau and the Tennessee river valley. We are currently offering 4 treehouse dwellings to share our peaceful land full of God's promises. The dwellings are spaced far enough apart for privacy yet not to far of a walk to the common area where the kitchen and shower are. You'll be surprised at how cool the tents stay under the forest canopy in the heat of summer. Then in the colder months we have various heating options to keep you cozy in 3 of the dwellings I hope you come to share this with us, it's an amazingly peaceful area. Nearly 3 miles of hiking trails to enjoy during your visit. Take a spur trail off the main trail loop and there is a prayer shelter with a fire pit inspired by Luke 6:12 in the back corner of the property. Located at the edge of the prarie on the main trail is a sunrise/sunset/bird-watching platform that is 20 feet in the air with a 2 stage bridge to access it. We updated the outdoor kitchen with a 3 burner propane stove, propane grill and hot running water with a 3 bay sink. Other cooking options include a tripod over the fire and a charcoal grill. A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

We had such a relaxing time! The cabin was perfect for the 5 of us and it had all the amenities we needed. We loved the lights around the campsite, and the kids took over the loft area in the cabin! Having a nice bathroom and the kitchen area just enhanced the stay! The highlight was enjoying the sweet kitties that spent time with us! It was a perfect little getaway!

The clear walls and ceiling make for a forest emersed one of a kind experience. It is like sleeping on the porch when you were young. Comfy for the whole family.

A very comfortable camping set up. Quite a lot of space in the woods to ourselves and between outhouses, with a large clearing in the middle for kids to enjoy. Kitchen and dining area under the barn is very well equipped. I didn't need to bring any extra cooking or dining equipment. Took us a little time to figure out the hot water in the shower but it does make a difference when it's on. Lots of products and some toilet paper provided. The wooden cabin was a great set up for sleeping. Very well ventilated and little fairy lights for nice ambiance. We took our air mattresses and sheets and it was like a little camp hotel. There is a road nearby but it's completely silent at night and pretty quiet during the day too. Horses on the property make great scenery. All in all clean and well maintained. Would just recommend taking a bath mat for the shower floor and tea towels for the kitchen for maximum comfort. Host was very easy to contact at any point and very helpful.

Couldn't ask for anything more. The host was very hospitable and had fire wood ready as I pulled up at night. Very peaceful at the back of the property. Very scenic waking up to the sunrise from the tent window over the mountain. Highly recommend if you need a place to sleep for the night. Will stay again.

Beautiful spot, nice, quiet and secluded. Signal mountain has plenty of watering holes to hop in, about 40 minute drive to Chattanooga, but the drive flys by with the beautiful scenic drive through signal mountain. A few hidden gems in the surrounding small towns. We would love to come back one day.

Absolutely amazing. Everything about it. William is beyond words, ineffable, kind and gracious and so is his wife Sharon. There really aren’t words to express how meaningful my experience was there except for the place that transcends words into the wilderness which I was deeply connected to. The hike up is WORTH IT. I think it adds an extra level of the beauty to it. I will definitely be returning at some point because I basically would like to live there for the rest of my life🩵✨

Great location. Beautiful property. It rained on us a good bit, but the barn w/ outdoor kitchen area was a nice place to hang w/ plenty of space. Outdoor shower and bathroom is amazing. Checked out some trails nearby at cloudland canyon.. missed Luna lake as it was not open. George was very responsive and nice to talk with. I highly respect what he is doing and has done on this property.

This was the perfect back wood experience :) Site was clean and well maintained. We hammock and tent camped this spot. Our kids enjoyed the swings... actually they enjoyed everything! So peaceful! We were in the area to visit the waterfalls and this was the perfect home base! Everything we wanted to see was generally within a 30-45 minute drive. Coming back each evening to watch the fireflies come out over the pasture and later the amazing view of stars was a perfect ending to our days. Super clean, private, full hookups, giant yard for the dog to have the time of his life, easy access for our 40 ft Class A. Definitely recommend!! Very easy in & out (40 ft camper)
