The Property: Located north of Cookeville in the rolling hills and farmland, our property is on Spring Creek, a state scenic river. Situated between two waterfalls and featuring over half a mile of river frontage to explore. Float, fish and relax listening to the cascading water. Perfect for bird watchers- blue and green herons, ospreys, hawks, bald eagles and more. You may spot the creek critters- minks, beavers, and otters. Various types of bass, craw dad's and minnows are in the creek. We operate similar to a state park. We are open to the public from 10am-7pm, peak season. Breanna's art studio is a must stay if you are a fan of all things crafty, and was the perfect retreat! We loved the quiet, wooded setting and it was exactly what we needed to recharge. The town of Cookeville is a mere 20 minutes away which has a wonderful assortment of restaurants, plus there are a number of parks and hiking trails nearby for the nature enthusiast. By the time we arrived, it was already dark. The host came to meet us and guided us to our site. Once we were set up, she checked to see if we needed anything further. The bathrooms and shower were very clean. We departed early in the morning. My only regret is not being able to see it in the light of day. We hope to go back and spend more time in the area. We will definitely stay with them again!

A charming little cabin on a beautiful property! I stayed here with my three dogs, and they loved having the space to roam freely. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the modern bathroom was a nice touch. Both the main room and the bathroom have their own window unit. Keith was wonderful to chat with, a friendly and welcoming host.

1 night at The Happy Camper At Hickory Hollow

This was a very fun stay! Super cozy! We were only stopping by for a quick rest however this would make a great base camp to explore, all the decor and enmities were very well thought out and curated for the artsy mind with great touches of hospitality. Honestly would stay again and seek this quiet spot out. We were last minute getting there and late/early to leave and the host Todd was very polite and responsive. If you’re thinking about it, book it!

Absolutely loved this spot. Honestly, such a gem of a camping spot. Right next to the bigger falls, nice spot to tent camp and have a fire, but also a lovely spot to pull your car onto the ridge of the falls. Me and my dogs had a wonderful camp, even in the pouring rain!

1 night at Hidden Timbers Homestead

Really lovely place. The meadow is peaceful and quiet, plenty of space with a great fire pit (pro tip: add on firewood delivery! You won't regret it). The hosts were really sweet, checked in on me and shared all about their very cool campground-like property. I was solo car camping in the meadow and it was wonderful, bright stars and just the peace I needed. I didn't use the shower but so great that that's available. Would definitely stay again!

Incredible trip! Camped right along the creek and between the two waterfalls on site. Awesome for swimming and just hanging out. Kids loved this place and didn’t want to leave. Alice was a great host.

We love this campground. The sites are concrete and level. I love the wide yards between sites. The grounds are kept clean. I like the garbage is picked up at our site all day. The beach is clean. The host was awsome! We will return if we are in the area.
