Weekend Trip to New Johnsonville Harbor Campground

We loved how the sites were right on the water. The area is quiet. James and Misty were both kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our time and will be back.

Wonderful hosts and kind fellow campers. Good area for dock or boat fishing, and RV camping. Cute town nearby.

1 night at Serendipity Resort

Spacious park with lots of shade trees and singing birds. After driving through tornado watches when we arrived the office was closed. I called and was met at the office to find out where our hookup site was. Unfortunately it was a Tuesday so the restaurant wasn’t open. And the water park would not be opening for a few more days. We had a shady spot under a large oak tree. We were able to take showers and the facilities were clean, the water was hot. The night was peaceful and quiet. We only stayed 1 night on the way back home from an East Coast visit.

Beautiful place. Only issue at all was the fire pit at #2 had garbage in it from last guess and it appears the squirrels may have found it.

Lane and Dan's Hip Camp is in a lovely location. Very quiet and picturesque. Highly recommend.

I did not get to stay here due to being sick, but the hosts were very responsive and accommodating to my flex in plans. I wish I could’ve stayed to meet them. I will definitely keep them in mind next time I’m in town.
