Weekend Trip to Mountain View Acres

Awesome property! Loved waking up to the animals in the nearby field. Easy to find our spot. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Definitely recommend this place!

We parked our RV right by the pasture and enjoyed playing with the animals. If you’re looking for SUPER private, this is not what you’re looking for. But if you don’t mind having cabins behind you, if you like having a bath house, and you love animals, this is great!

Ray and Shannon were such a pleasure to communicate with. What a nice spot for a trip. If you love animals like we do, you will really love this Hipcamp. The donkeys were so fun and friendly as were the cows, bulls, ducks, chickens and Kitty cat that came to make sure we made it OK!

We camped with our travel trailer for the first time at this property. It was on a quiet road between 2 homes, but has enough space to feel like you have it to yourself. It has a great view of the mountains. Solid hookups- no issue there. Saw some cute toads. We brought our dog and she enjoyed as well. It’s 10 min from sideways brewing and good hiking. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place to camp next to the river. Tom and Carrie are great hosts and knows the area well. Lots of sightseeing and overlooks near by too. We will definitely be back!!

The site was quiet. We stayed in the spot closest to the woods. It was a little tricky backing our trailer in, though in hindsight it would have helped if I put the truck in 4-wheel drive (it's a gravel driveway). We were not far from Brevard, Pisgah National Forest, and other places we came to see. The owner was quick to respond to my inquiries.

Very kind host. The view of the water right next to us and the sound of it was so peaceful. The bathhouse was functional and worked fine and the power was a 50 amp and I needed a co getter for my 30amp. But was a great price for a beautiful and peaceful location.

The most fun! Great spot with great views and well maintained. Got to meet Clayton, Tiffany, and Mad Max (their mini pony). They were so lovely and welcoming! The bath houses were so clean and refreshing, and a nearby coffee shop gave us recommendations on some beautiful hikes nearby, Rainbow Falls was unreal! At night we looked up and saw StarLink in the sky which was very neat. The hot tub was a great touch as the nights cooled down quite a bit. Will be back with my family next time for sure!

Our small pop up camper was great on the farm! Bathhouse was so big and clean and professional. Communication with hosts was easy and they were responsive to any need. Ground is not level so bring plenty of accessories to level with.

Let’s start with the list of what I didn’t like: 1. the toilet paper roll was on backwards Now for things I loved: 1. there was toilet paper 2. there was a toilet… 3. in a very nice bathhouse 3. the trails were perfect for our dogs 4. the hot tub was super clean 5. there was convenient power I could go on. It was a really nice site, not far from a convenient store, but with ample privacy and many glamping features. Definitely a great choice!

This is a wonderful spot to camp. Highly recommend! The hot tub is clean and well maintained. (I am a nurse and a germaphobe). The view is beautiful! I have a teardrop camper and the bathroom was so nice. There is a lot of great hiking close by. If you are on the fence, go ahead and book the site, you won’t regret it.
