My experience in Jesse’s land was great. He was very friendly and accommodating when I first arrived. It was nice and private with a personal fire pit, though I didn’t use it.

Weekend Trip to White Stone Forge & Farm

We had a great night! Easy to find, and the campsite near the red barn is flat which was great for our rooftop tent. Debi and Jeff checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed! Amazing hosts! We spent time with the baby goats, and our daughter loved seeing all of the farm animals! Including waking up so close to them. We loved walking around the property and looking at nature. The indoor bath was a huge perk! Highly recommend!

1 night at Sweetwater Lake Campground

I had a great one-night stay at Sweetwater. The site and the bathroom were clean and well-maintained. There were other campers in RVs nearby, but everyone was quiet. I booked the glamping tent site, but I only intended on using my own hammock in the nearby trees. When the host realized I wasn't actually using the tent, she generously gave me a refund! She was very easy to coordinate with. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely come back to stay here.

1 night at Sweetwater Lake Campground

Olivia was so sweet helping us coordinate arrival at Sweetwater. There ended up being a huge storm so we did not stay, however she was super accommodating and we will 100% be back - it looks like such a sweet oasis and we are excited to fish in her families waterways!

1 night at Private Oasis In The Forest

We loved it! Amazing spot for our dog to roam, lovely but short trail around the lake, a little row boat we didn't use but would have been a fun little adventure - we set our tent up inside because the windows are wide open so just to keep bugs off us though we didn't notice many the night we were there - great experience especially for the price! We were tenting and it was calling for a thunderstorm and we couldn't have asked for a better spot to watch watch the rain come down and listen to it on the tin roof!

4 nights at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds

The A-frame was perfect! Enough space to be able to relax in. Every morning, afternoon and evening, my dog and I would sit on the dock gazing out at the lake with Herons, Osprey, Geese, Ducks and Cormorants all flying past. With the boat ramp right there, we would easily cast off on our SUP for the lake. Jesse, his wife and kids were wonderful and so nice. Their place and land offered so much to do. My dog got to feel like a country dog, interacting with the chickens, running through the woods and snoozing by the fire pit. This trip was exactly what I needed and desired. I loved every minute at Jesse's place.

Great site, short walk to the lake edge where we put in our kayaks. Wood pallet was generous and set up was nice. We saw a bald eagle minutes after making a toast to those fighting overseas (can’t make this stuff up)! Found a 1965 nickel on the ground, wonder what other hidden historic secrets are in this area. Awesome campsite!

The cabin was cozy and peaceful, by a nice little pond. Could use a bit more kitchen equipment like pots and pans, but otherwise sufficiently equipped. The heater worked great to keep us warm on cold evenings. My son loved seeing the beautiful horses and animals, and playing with the very friendly farm dogs who kept us company. George and their daughter were friendly and nice to chat to. Thank you for a fun stay on your beautiful farm!

This was a perfect place to stop for the night! Quiet, safe, and everything taken care of. She even had a fire going for me when I arrived! I would love to go back when I have more time to spend on the lake.

This spot totally blew us away. Seriously, the vibes were immaculate. And those fresh eggs? Don't even get me started. So good, like sunshine on a plate. We're already planning our next visit. This place is a hidden gem, for sure. Can't wait to go back and soak it all in again. It's the kind of place that just makes you happy.

Jesse was outstanding, He was really nice and communicative, sadly we had to leave early because of the weather, was really windy and colder that we expected for that day, ( check the weather really carfuly before planning your trip, totally my fault) even so, he offered to pay a full refund. Campsite Overlooking Lake at Prices Bridge Inn & Campgrounds is a beutifull place with a lot of things to do an collect good memories with your love ones.

What a great stay! We were arriving right at sunset, so Jesse sent a video on exactly where to find the campsite. The area was quiet and peaceful, and we were able to find plenty of firewood. In the morning, we were able to get some fresh well water and meet the dogs! Definitely recommend.

Incredibly peaceful! Set in a hollow with a small pond next to it available to kayak (provided) & fish. Horses set up on the hillside. Plenty of other animals to enjoy as well. Hosts are perfectly welcoming & there if/when you need them. It offers the opportunity to unplug from the world and enjoy simple living with a touch of all the amenities you may need without the digital distractions...Splendidly perfect!

Rosewood Farm and Agripark is my home. I honestly had about the most amazing childhood one could have on this very land! We hunted, fished, made mud pies and played outside for hours, as long as we were in shouting distance for supper time! I am so fortunate to be the daughter of two amazing parents, who had a dream to build a working farm from nothing more than a logging trail in the woods. They built a 3 story, 10,000 square foot house by themselves- while raising a family! We have 200 acres of farmland that features rolling hills, multiple ponds, creeks, farm animals, show horses and countless wildlife viewing opportunities. Wild turkey and deer roam free all over the farm, coveys of dove fly out from the pastures and trails, and coyotes howl in the night. Listen to the frogs croaking, crickets chirping and whipporwhills calling every evening under a magical blanket of stars. Take a nature hike through the trails that meander through the woods around the park. Our newest venture is to offer primitive camping and some cabin rentals around our 60 acre Agripark! For those wanting to step it up a notch, we have erected a large concrete floor, covered event barn (for parties, family reunions, weddings, cowboy church, etc..,) and also a huge petting zoo barn with an area behind it for pony rides and 4-h/FFA functions. Also, a greenhouse is being erected next, that will teach people about aquaponics and hydroponics! Many things are on the immediate horizon for this special property. While we are under heavy construction at the moment in some areas of the park, many amenities are currently available. Why not unplug from the daily grind and spend time with those that matter most? My goal is to make this land as magical for your family as it has been for mine!

The property is very near Cane Creek Park daily use for the public and a short 2 minute drive to the main entrance of Cane Creek Park. That's where the biking, hiking, walking, fishing and boating can be done. yes there is room for your boat to be parked at the site. Google Cane Creek Park Union County NC for information on the Park. Yes you can walk to the park as well just a little longer than driving. You can eat your meals and watch deer and rabbits among other wildlife visitors and you can view the farm animals from your camp sites as well. Whether it is for just one person or and couple or a family with children or older parents there is room for everyone. Our RV campsite is cleared and flat area already at the barn that has an RV hook up, electric only. You just dry camp (no sewer or water hook ups). Wheelchairs can be used around the Barnside RV site. There is room for a tent or another small camper with the RV site but will require an extra fee. This campsite we are working to make more private you can see a neighbors house on the backside only but we are working on a live privacy fence just going to take a little time for everything to grow. the neighbors are very quiet and keep to themselves. you will here the animals more than the neighbors. The bathroom is a short walk to the bath house and kitchen but a beautiful little walk and you see wildlife and the farm animals on your way. This is a spot you can come and hide if you want to. If you just want to get away and not be bothered this is the space for you. There is a bath house with toilet and shower free to campers. Also a kitchen available this extra does have a small fee to cover propane, water and electricity. There is a stove, frig, sink a place to sit for a couple of people to sit and eat. This is free to all campers. Please bring your own food, soaps, toiletries and towels. The bathroom and kitchen are an apartment over a detached garage so there is a flight of stairs no wheel chair access. We have farm animal adventures available as well. You can brush a goat, cow, donkey or pony. We also have a Farm Hand Experience check out the extras. No riding available just brush or pet these animals. Also a few times a year we have bottle babies that can be scheduled for our campers to feed them a bottle and play with them. Bottle feeding is not available year round so please ask ahead of time if we have them. We have rules that are a must to do these adventures. We will let you know ahead time if you schedule an animal adventure. Truly is a sanctuary here but you can easily commute to Charlotte Metro Area anywhere in Union and Lancaster County or surrounding areas. The cottage Tree house is located on 2.5 acres of wooded property. Check in time is 4pm and checkout is 11am. The tree house comes with all amenities for our guest and has an upper deck with seating and a charcoal grill. The lower deck has seating and space and just sit and relax or enjoy breakfast and coffee. There is a half bath on the lower deck and a full bath in the tree house with a walk in shower. We do allow pets. The house is on a mini split system for heat and air. We do live on the property and use the deck under the treehouse as there is a bathroom there and a tool room. You may walk the property however there are areas under construction we do not allow our guests to go.
