Dennis & Melissa's Hidden Creek

Our 400 acre family cow and pine tree farm most of which was purchased 60 years ago by my father and mother. My two siblings and me were raised here and later bought joining land that now makes up the 400 acres. We all still live on the farm with our families 1.4 mile down a dirt and gravel road. We all enjoy the peace and quiet that you will find here. Sounds of our cows, wildlife and the occasional rumble of a distant train is all you will hear on our farm. Our Hidden Creek is a short fun hike to cool your tired feet. Wide hiking paths all the way around our property if you would like a long hike.

Enjoy your privacy on our 400 acres of farm and forest trails. 10 minutes from groceries and gas, 15 minutes from a small town. We are surrounded by farmland and forest. There are a few different attractions 5 - 10 minutes away (lake Robinson) it has a boat landing and plenty of fish,  (Carolina Sandhills national wildlife refuge)it has plenty of hiking trails and roads perfect for bicycling, small mountain called (Sugarloaf Mountain)perfect for hiking. Local peach/strawberry farm (McLeod farm) with produce/gift shop/free&nbsp;museum/restaurant called (Big's),&nbsp;they have pick your own strawberries in the spring and early summer. In nearby Hartsville and Cheraw there are several golf&nbsp;courses and places for&nbsp;Kayak rentals.&nbsp;Neptune Island&nbsp;waterpark in Hartsville.&nbsp;&nbsp; We have a hidden Creek that is fun to hike to by way of a trail. Small pond for fishing, plenty of room for hiking and bike riding ( grassy, sandy, rolling hills). Beautiful hills to camp on and watch an unobstructed view of the Carolina sunset and sunrise that peak through wooded acreage. Choose a tent camp location or pull/drive your RV/camper right near our cow pasture and watch the cows graze. Fresh drinking water at campsites.&nbsp;Bathroom and heated shower.  Pick wild blackberries in early summer and wild grapes in late summer early fall, and we may share some of our home made jellies with you. We welcome family groups year round. At night enjoy the sounds of wildlife while watching the highly visible twinkling stars and tracing the many constellations and if lucky see a shooting star or two.

We are 20 miles from Myrtle Beach, and just a short drive to beautiful downtown Conway, SC. There you will find shopping, amazing restaurants, and the Riverwalk. Alongside the tent is a fire pit, hammock, cornhole, picnic table, and gas grill. Take a stroll on one of our many trails that backs up to the National Wildlife Refuge.

Enjoy fishing and take a ride in the paddleboat, johnboat, and kayaks on our pond near your campsite. 

The Farm at Lowrys

We are a rural farm in southeastern NC. We have lakes for canoes and kayaks as well as electric motor boats. We have area to hike and ride bikes as well. On our farm we raise beef cattle, goats , chickens and donkeys. Our area in great for relaxing.  Bring your tent and get ready to enjoy the beauty of our farm.

Wolff Woods

Wolff Woods is 18 acres of pine forest, grassy fields, and other trees and shrubs. There are multiple areas of the property to set up camp whether you want to be covered by trees or want to play in the grass and gaze at the stars, Wolff Woods is the place to be. The property is surrounded by fields and is very private. There are also multiple entrances to the property, perfect for RVs or smaller vehicles. We also have a backyard swimming pool that campers are welcome to use upon request. We are pet friendly and just kindly ask that you give us a heads up before arrival so we can put our own dog away. We are a Working Vineyard tucked away in the country right outside of Florence with Ample Space for your RV. You can reach us easily either by I-20, I-95, or Hwy 76. We Love to see New Faces and Swap Traveling Stories! We Grow, Harvest, Crush, and Press Our Grapes Right here at The Vineyard. There is Plenty of RV Space on the Property with Easily Accessible Power Hook-Ups and Water.

We offer Wine Tastings and if available at the time, a Tour the Winery at your Leisure. We are a Pet-Friendly, so you can bring your Fur Babies with You.

Campsite is designed for RV's with power hook-ups, located among an 18-acre grape vineyard. Enjoy our country setting, southern hospitality, spectacular wine selections (Award Winning Fruit Wines), and a tour of our working winery. We also have a screened-in fence area that is perfect for tent camping, especially when you usually have it all to yourself.

If there is a group of children, we try to have an onsite bounce house. Please let us know in advance if there is going to be a group of children traveling with you.

Tall Grass and Pines

This property is unimproved and unmaintained raw natural land.  The entire property is surrounded by a farm drainage ditch on all sides, with random farm drainage ditches to insure the land is dry and a 60’ x 60’ old farm irrigation pond (see satellite photo to know where the ditches are located).  There is plenty of seasoned raw wood (from when the property was cleared 4 years ago) laying randomly throughout the property to cut and collect for a camp fire.  The land is located off a dirt access road that is well maintained by the county.  The county dirt road can provide for hours of peaceful riding via mountain bikes.  Campers are more than welcome to cut their own path on the land for their campsite.  There is a fire pit by the large tree when first entering the property at Entrance 2 (please see photos for the locations of Entrance 1 and 2).  Note:  This raw land is unmaintained and was last cleared 4 years ago, photos are from April 2022.  There is a video tour posted on youtube of the property, which can be navigated to via our twitter site link that is shared here as our website address.  Please note as of 2025, we have 2 parking areas roped off with yellow rope, one parking area is 20’ x 50’ with crushed aggregate the other parking area is 20’ x 45’.  This area is camping in the raw, a designated resting spot for a Camper Van, it is not for an amateur as clearing brush may be necessary and is priced accordingly no frills.  Campers will likely will be greeted by friendly neighbors now as opposed to long ago.  We understand the previous problem left.  :-)
