We are only 1 mile off of I26 in St Matthews, SC exit 139.( located between Columbia and Charleston, South Carolina) Come experience a quiet country setting and amazing fishing experience. No license required and you may keep what you catch! 2 night minimum on glamping sites.

Great place to stop on the way to Florida. Kids had lots of fun fishing. The tent was cosy and kept us dry in the rain. The mattresses were comfy, bathrooms clean. Totally recommend.

We had the most magical time at Sweetwater Lake! Olivia was an incredible host; thoughtful, responsive, and truly went above and beyond. The site was stocked with everything you could possibly need for a cozy, comfortable stay. Just bring your own food and you’re set! You can feel the love and intention that’s been poured into this place. It’s peaceful, private, and the perfect spot to unplug, recharge, and reconnect. Highly recommend for a serene getaway.

1 night at Sweetwater Lake Campground
I had a great one-night stay at Sweetwater. The site and the bathroom were clean and well-maintained. There were other campers in RVs nearby, but everyone was quiet.
I booked the glamping tent site, but I only intended on using my own hammock in the nearby trees. When the host realized I wasn't actually using the tent, she generously gave me a refund! She was very easy to coordinate with. If I'm in the area again, I would definitely come back to stay here.

Olivia was so sweet helping us coordinate arrival at Sweetwater. There ended up being a huge storm so we did not stay, however she was super accommodating and we will 100% be back - it looks like such a sweet oasis and we are excited to fish in her families waterways!

This was a perfect place to stop for the night! Quiet, safe, and everything taken care of. She even had a fire going for me when I arrived! I would love to go back when I have more time to spend on the lake.
