My wife and I stayed in the Silver Meteor for two nights and loved it. My concerns going in were the temperature and space, neither of which were any issue. The location of the campsite is very nice. It is a short drive into Savannah, but an even shorter drive to Thunderbolt, which I suggest you check out. When we pulled up to the location it took us a few minutes to find the camper, but it wasn't a hassle. The campsite is very nice. Aside from the camper itself you will have your own hammock and fir pit. There was plenty of firewood on the property which we used to have small fires while we were there. The campsite also shares a small charcoal grill with the other campers, just get your own charcoal. The camper itself is small, but more than enough for two people who don't plan on hanging out inside all day. The bed was good for two people, though I could see it being tight of you are taller than 6'. There's a small sink, and kitchen area plus a table with a bit of storage. The AC unit was amazing, it was about 80 outside (early April) and we could practically freeze in the camper if we ran it at full blast. The campsite shares two bathrooms and a shower with the other sites. This was no problem for us and we were i.pressed with how nice these facilities were. There are horses on the site which we said hello to as well as some good hiking. I would highly recommend this as a clamping option.

Our stay was fantastic… wish we could have stayed more than 2 nights. The onsite hiking trails are great and the views are beautiful. Close to all the hotspots yet quiet at night… I highly recommend staying here

We loved our stay at the Glam Camp! We arrived at night time, but the instructions were clear and had no problem locating our camper. Quaint spot that shares space with two other campers. Restrooms/shower is a very short walk and the entire place felt safe. Check out is a little early, but they allow you to stay on the property after check out, which we did to explore the grounds. It was nice getting lost in the open marsh and the Bonaventure cemetery was also a short walk away! Great place to stay!

My second stay, this time in The Lark, as the Glam Camp proper was full. Another wonderful time, and I ventured further out along the perimeters of the marsh. This place is pure magic. Thanks to Chad & Angi for sharing it. I'll come back any chance I get.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Beautiful property and very experienced hosts that have gone above and beyond in this slice of paradise. Spotless Camper and bathrooms, and the outdoor shower was to die for. We have already booked another trip and have recommended this site to friends and family. Hosts are very responsive with any questions.

We had a great stay. We stayed 2 nights to explore savannah. Bed was super comfortable and outdoor shower was relaxing and hot. I did explore some of the outdoor trails and saw different birds. Very cute and great place to stay!

My sister and my two daughters stopped for one night. We loved the Orient Express! It was beautifully and uniquely decorated, clean, and cozy. The dining table/bed was surprisingly comfortable. The courtyard was adorable, and we liked that our firepit was set back from the other two glam camp spots. The bathrooms were clean and neat. We got to hear two barred owls squawking at each other for several minutes, and, of course, the horses were amazing! We already want to go back. I would definitely recommend!!

This was the most comfortable, quiet, pretty, and well appointed small trailer I’ve ever stayed in! It was perfect as a single guest and I’d fly back to Savannah just to stay here again!!!

Very cute and well appointed accommodation! It was perfect for just me! It rained quite a bit while I was there but I stayed dry inside the camper. Loved exploring the property and Savannah/Tybee. It was the perfect mix of camping and not camping- if that makes sense.

we absolutely loved staying in the Flaming Flamingo!! we came up to savannah for my birthday weekend and loved everything about it! we are outdoorsy hiking lovers but are from florida, so this was the perfect way to camp in cold weather for us. everything was super clean, tidy, and adorably decorated. our favorite part was the record player! we can’t wait to come back. chad was a great host :)

Fire pit by the marsh is open for guest use and provides a lovely way to end the day with evening views of the sunset over the marsh. The Sandcastle offers a peaceful and inspiring respite from life in the Big City. We have goats, Zebu cattle, peacocks, ducks, a pig, chickens and a pet squirrel which are accessible to guests!Please visit our website to view our Local Guide.The spaceThe sandcastle is an incredible "Glamping" space and includes one queen bed with bedding. There is also a futon for additional guests.. There is a floor in the dome and both small screen windows and full panel windows for airflow and to keep out bugs. The sandcastle is a "glamping" tent. :-) Because it gets cold in the evenings, we have special insulation in the cooler months to keep you warm, along with duvet and blanket there is also a heater for winter and small ac for summer. The bathroom is private. It is VERY IMPORTANT that only toilet paper goes in the toilet. We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. We also have many fruit trees on the property. There is a pond for our ducks, and the intracoastal river that is just a walk down the street.Check out is no later than noon.Guests are encouraged to explore the 6 acre property, relax by the pond, on the deck or by the pool. Unfortunately you just can’t go behind the gates without me.There is access to a outdoor fire pit (wood is available for purchase), the outdoor shower and an outhouse.High-speed internet is provided free of charge. It only works closer to the main house, so you may have to sit outside to access it. Download those movies! There are two grocery stores within a couple of miles away.Our own eggs, honey and vegetables are available for purchase. Price per night does not include breakfast.Other things to noteIf you want to relax in a rural environment and experience a food-based, makers community then this is the place for you.The property has multiple dwellings and many shared spaces.
