A quaint working farm located in the heart of Adams County, PA. Located just minutes from Gettysburg Battlefield, Biglerville Apple Country, Codorus State Park, Pinchot State Park, and Pine Grove Furnace State Park. Also, not far from the Appalachian Trail, and points in Maryland. The small town of Hampton, PA is only a few miles away. There you will find a pizza/sandwich restaurant and a Donut/Ice Cream shop. The adjoining properties are also working farms, and you will be entranced by the surrounding peace and beauty. Almost every direction has a beautiful skyline. You can walked the mowed paths on the farm, fish in the pond, sit around the camp fire and listen to the quiet and the birds signing. If you like to bike or go for long walks the county roads don’t have a much traffic to contend with and are inviting for walks and biking. We offered carriage rides around the farm paths using our dartmoor ponies. We can provide you with large fire 🔥 wood bundles, farm fresh eggs, fresh homemade donuts and bagels to your campsite if you order!

Despite its secluded feel, Green Glade is just a short drive from many of the region’s most popular destinations. Because of the rural location, cell phone service may be limited depending on your carrier, though many guests find this to be a welcome opportunity to unplug and enjoy the surroundings. Wi-Fi is available inside the cabin for staying connected if needed. The peaceful setting and wide-open countryside are part of what make Green Glade special. Our home has a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower (no tub), WIFI, Smart TV, and a Grill. Animals are welcome. The road to the home is not paved but well maintained. During the Winters Months in order to rent a 4x4 with chains is required. Close to Gettysburg, Pine Grove Furnace State Park (with two Lakes (Laurel and Fuller) Michaux State Forest and Liberty Mountain Ski Area. Appalachian Trail Museum is nearby as well as Golfing (Piney Apple Golf Course), Fishing, Hiking and Biking Trails. The road to the cabin is not paved and steep in a few areas, but well maintained. Please use caution at night. Also anyone staying in the winter months, a vehicle with 4x4 and/or chains is required to stay on the property.
