Rockaway Falcon - Rockaway Beach OR

A cottage on edge of forest, access to the whole comfortable 3 bedroom/2 bath home with deck, hot tub and fire pit or explore forest and make your own campsite.  Ocean is nearby as well as the quaint small town of Rockaway Beach for supplies.  Hike through moss covered giant trees, hundreds of years old.  Find your own little fairy garden and commune with nature.

Rita's Woodland Gardens

Our Lotus Belle overlooks a working family garden on 2 acres, a short hike from McDonald State Forest.  Shady hammocks and chairs under towering firs, maples and oaks. Sunny days, cool nights, open skies. Guests hydrate with sweet, pure, cold well water.   Cycling, kayaking, walking, and wineries nearby. Our town has a lovely downtown area with riverfront restaurants, breweries and shops. Local musicians perform most weekends, starting on Thurs.

We provide a propane stove and propane, cooking equipment, and dishes. We also have a cooler at the site. Bring your own ice. Seasonal fruits and vegetables available .

Powder Creek Campground

Powder Creek Ranch is 362 acres, nestled into a valley, surrounded by forest in the Oregon Coast Range. The campground is in a secluded meadow next to Powder Creek, a pristine year round stream, perfect for wading and playing in.  If you're looking to unplug and escape from the chaos of city life, we are all about peace and quiet and connecting with nature. 

Each of our 13 large campsites offers access to the creek, a picnic table and campfire ring. All sites accommodate RVs as well as tent camping.

One of the campsites is next to the beaver pond, where you're likely to see a variety of wildlife.

Our property also has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat. Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City.

We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and Kielbasa), bacon (when available), pork chops and roasts.

Dauenhauer Family Campground

This property is owned by Carl and Lores Dauenhauer and was initially operated as a multi-functional farm raising a thousand acres in various crops. In the early 1980's Carl and his children began planting grapes on the property and now the vineyard is the predominate feature for the farm. Most of the vineyard production is sold to wineries located across the state, however the family does retain a small amount of grapes each year for their private wine label "Hauer of the Dauen". You are welcome to stop by the farm for wine tasting on Saturday and Sunday's 12:00-5:00pm. The park and campground area is a recent addition to the farm and had been a vision of Carl's for quite some time. Carl usually goes for a walk through the vineyard in the during sunrise and sunset, weather permitting, and he loves to share his life-story with any campers who want to chat.

Eclipse hot spot

Our small farm in located just minutes from town in the rural town Independence Oregon.  You will located close to shopping, wineries, hospital and all your basic needs while enjoying the eclipse on private peaceful land.  Learn more about this land:We are a 10 acre farm in the heart of the path of the 2017 eclipse.  We have a very large field to offer wonderful views of the eclipse.  Some shade available.  Wonderful coast range views as well.  Fully fenced and secure.  Close to town yet private feel.

Camp on the property of a 1930's Willamette Valley farmhouse. Beautiful views of Mt. Hood. Learn more about this land:Enjoy camping out on the farm. We have amazing views of Mt. Hood. Within walking distance is Willamette Valley Pie Company for delicious coffee and pastries.

(See photos) Beautiful country setting with easy RV access just a few short miles off I5.  Perfect for the snowbirds or any RV travelers stopover. Your hosts, Robin and Bill have the ideal location for your base camp for experiences and sights too numerous to list.   We are native Oregonians who have been camping all over the state all our lives and can suggest many hidden gems to visit. (A few highlights listed at the  bottom). We are just two miles from Willamette Valley Vineyards. The Enchanted Forest AND Salem, our capitol is only minutes away!     There are plenty of recreational opportunities such as hiking, biking or kayaking nearby.    Or Perhaps  you just want to read or simply relax?    Whether you prefer boondocking or are finding RV parks overcrowded and expensive... if you don't need hookups we have just the spot!    Please don't hesitate to message me if you have any questions at all. There are lots of special circumstances we can accommodate.  Such as you are in an RV but want to set up a tent for the kids?  Or you have a group of several smaller to mid size RVs. We can probably fit you all in easily.
