For years the property was a fruit orchard located close in to town. 

Over the years crops have evolved.  Now we grow pumpkins, garlic, sweet corn and —lavender!

Crockett Road Lavender Farm is located close in to Walla Walla wine country on paved roads.  We are just off the main highway between Milton-Freewater and Walla Walla     Easy to access for all size RVs on all paved roads. All campers are welcome to pick a spot&nbsp;on our spacious lush lawns surrounded by fragrant lavender fields.  Pets are welcome and feel free to wander our alfalfa hay fields and long rows of colorful lavender.   We are close to all the area attractions, wineries, golf courses, restaurants and historic sites  Crockett Road Lavender Farm  an active lavender producing operation and a country themed lavender boutique is on site if you wish to shop!

One note--We do not have full RV hookups.   Both Hipcamp sites on the farm do have water hooks.  And, in a pinch, we can get power to you if absolutely needed.   But there are no sewer hookups and no official electricity hookups.

15 Acre farm with views of the Wallowa Mountains, and the Seven Devils in Idaho. Only 2 miles from town, but secluded and quiet surrounded by bare land and hillsides. Easy access to all of the town amenities, with an out-of-town feel. Leave the busy sounds of traffic and tourism and enjoy your quiet serene space. Chance to see a variety of wildlife passing through.

You are minutes from local restaurants, 13 miles from Wallowa Lake State Park & all that the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest has to offer- trailheads for hiking, the lake for swimming or boating, and a bike or walking trail. Just outside of town you can head to the Minam River, or Snake River for fishing and recreation. 15 miles from the Zumwalt Prairie Nature Preserve where you can observe nature and agriculture.

Full hook ups available with flexibility to accommodate trailers and motorhomes of all sizes. A great spot to embark on a bike tour of the beautiful back country roads, just outside of city limits. This location really is the best of all the area has to offer.

Glamp at the Evans Farm

The Evans Farm is a Century Farm which has been in our family for three generations (with the fourth generation children enjoying it now). &nbsp;It was a self sufficient family farm for many years with Jersey Dairy cattle, Suffolk Sheep, pigs, quality horses, both Draft and Riding, and a flock of chickens. &nbsp;A large garden supplied family vegetables. &nbsp;A love for the land and the area were all part of the Farm.&nbsp;Located two miles from Joseph, three miles from Wallowa Lake, and close to hiking, fishing, camping, and outdoor adventures, the Farm is secluded but offers easy access to the surrounding area.&nbsp;

Learn more about this land:Campsites are gravel parking with park-like lawn, well kept,&nbsp;and surrounded by a small picnicking area with extra parking, porta potty, garbage receptical,  BBQs, tables and chairs on sprawling grassy lawns shaded with 100 year old large trees. Perfect for a large group. We have a big tree swing and an adult size teeter totter for you to enjoy. There is a horseshoe area.  The camping sites are back in only, so if you have trouble backing in, I am happy to help.&nbsp;Each spot has a fire pit with first firewood supplied, (additional be purchased) and a picnic table. Surrounding area is sagebrush, 2 miles from Wallowa National Forest with miles and miles of wilderness trails, lakes and Mountain fishing, ATVs, hiking, biking. You can ride your ATVs right from the camp. There is huckleberry and mushroom picking in early summer and late spring.  Local wildlife consists of deer, elk, eagles and owls, pheasants, quail, wild turkeys, all kinds of birds, (even an occasional farm chicken may wander by)&nbsp;and coyotes and frogs calling at night. My friendly labs like to come say hi.  Campsites are for tents or RVs. Our electric is shared among the&nbsp;campsites. Our water is from a wonderful deep cold well that’s piped to a shared outlet in the middle of the RV camp. Bring a hose to hook up, we have one if you need one. Guest Wi-Fi if you’re close to the store.  Cell service is limited. I do allow generators if you are not sharing the park with anyone else. If you’re the only ones, no quiet time, if others are camping, quiet time is from 10:00 pm - 7:00 am. 
Site 1: largest fire pit, close to the power hook up, the most shady spot but still sunny, closest to the park. 
Site 2:  A bit of shade, most of the day in sun. Closest to water hook up. 
Site 3: A Sunny site, a little late afternoon shade. A little more privacy as it’s the last spot. Farthest stretch for water and power, but I provide an extension power cord to it. Our little store has items you may need if you run out or forget something. We also sell regular gas.

Our property sits right in the heart of wine country, conveniently located on Oregon Highway 11. It feels like you’re out in the country, yet Walla Walla, WA is less than 7 miles away.

The campground is a cozy, welcoming spot with shady trees and a winding creek that flows into a pond—used as an irrigation reservoir for farms miles away. There are plenty of great picnic spots, a canoe available for use, and campfires are allowed when fire restrictions aren’t in place.

Shumway Farm

Welcome to our family farm, where we cultivate wheat, raise cows, pumpkins and grow grapes! Nestled along a serene country road, the property boasts the tranquil sounds of the babbling Couse Creek. Conveniently situated just 3 miles from Milton Freewater and 10 miles from Walla Walla, it offers easy access to both the Blue Mountains and the picturesque rolling hills of the farm for leisurely strolls.

Gather around the fire pit, with firewood provided, for cozy evenings under the stars.

Stay connected with Starlink internet for WiFi access and take advantage of electrical hookups for your RV.

This location is perfect for indulging in some star gazing.

With only one space available, you'll have the entire place to yourself, ensuring a peaceful and private getaway.

Last Chance Glass and Getaway

Last Chance Glass Getaway is a small eleven acre farm exceptionally situated in the gorgeous Walla Walla Valley. There are level access and pull through camp sites&nbsp;along the Burlingame Canal and the South fork of the Little Walla Walla river (a creek). Enjoy nature here on the Old Oregon trail in the form of beaver ponds, coyote song, deer trails, bird watching and star gazing - just a half mile from the historic Whitman Mission. 

Park on the partial pavement (Mountain and Garden Sites) or drive gently on the grass to one of the well separated sites. Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit. 

There is self service firewood for sale. Fresh eggs most days. Both available as an "extra" on the app. ($10, $5)

Orchard Site and Park Site are shady and cool on the north side of the drive. Park is nestled in the trees next to the barn. Orchard site has mature trees for both shade and sunshine. Park site has it's own water spigot and is within reach of a 110amp electrical outlet with your extension cord. No A/C or high amp use please.  

Mountain Site and Garden site are both situated along the Burlingame Canal, a historic waterway and engineering marvel worth googling. Both have an unobstructed east facing view of farmland and the Blue Mountains - perfect for full moons and sunrises. These two sites are generally in the shade around dinner time. Note: The canal is empty August and Sept

Creekside Site is the newest site. Fully fenced. Full hook up. Private and secluded.

Owners request that you don't throw anything for the friendly working border collies, if you see one. The farm is 7 miles from downtown Walla Walla. 4 miles to Walmart super center.

Horse Feathers Pony Ranch

Pitch your tent in&nbsp;the extra horse pasture&nbsp;on this beautiful small horse ranch in Pendleton, Oregon. Kids and well behaved dogs that are UTD on vaccines are welcome. Please plan to keep your dog on a leash at the ranch as we have vulnerable critters wandering around and pick up after them. We have a couple of outdoor kennels available if you want to leave them while you go exploring in town. 

 Campsites have access to a portable toilet, spigot and hose and cowboy shower (seasonal). Kids (and adults) can help feed the horses and chickens and meet Minerva the Minnie Pig! Pony lessons, lessons in making stone tools and tule ducks are available for an extra fee with prior arrangements. 

Relax and watch the wildlife. Animals you may see, hear, and smell during your visit include: raptors hunting over the grasslands; numerous swallows and songbirds; deer and elk; porcupines and skunks;  and coyotes and owls nighttime serenade. 

Fishing, swimming and paddling in the McKay reservoir less than a mile away. Visit downtown&nbsp;Pendleton, home to the Round Up! The longest continuously running rodeo in the US!&nbsp;We have lots to do with a bustling downtown, visit the Round Up Hall of Fame, &nbsp;Pendleton&nbsp;Underground tours, the Children’s Museum, the Pendleton Art Center and lots of great restaurants.&nbsp;

We have 2 tent sites that are accessible by foot you will have to pack your gear to the sites.If you want to car camp or have a van you will need to camp in our driveway space. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate tow campers the driveway is too tight.

Please plan your initial check in before 9 pm as both Tom and I  have to be up very early for work in the mornings. 

Travelers with horses are welcome. We have extra pens available with prior arrangements and for an extra fee. We have a special area for horses and horse trailers.

The High Road Cabins N camping

Private land in the forest with a
Log cabin(s) (built about a century ago). No general public access. Get to know each other again, or take a "soul reset" vacation to find yourself again or walk to the pond and catch dinner. Everyone who comes here, takes a deep breath and says how beautiful it is and how lucky we are. We agree and we would like you to come enjoy it as well. Take your trash with you. The trash bins are for the cabins only. Campers please follow "leave no trace" and take it all with you.
