Me and my husband, Sotero, are from different continents. We met in Portland, Oregon, over 25 years ago. Being able to communicate in five languages gave us the opportunity to interact with people from various cultures, try new foods, and learn about new history and experiences. We love seeing the world, with our favorite destinations being Mexico, Dubai, and Canada. Also, we love camping and decided to create a little private camping ground and farm lodge for people who wish to camp without huge expense. We try hard to make each guest’s stay wonderfully memorable.
Owner will be close by to answer any questions but gives you a space and privacy. Please text your time off arrival, make sure we open gates.

Nestled in the foothills of the Oregon Coastal Range, this property is teeming with wildlife. The site is surrounded by 100-year-old oaks and Douglas firs, making it a truly picturesque location.
Not only is our property peaceful and beautiful, but we are also just 10 minutes from Finley Wildlife Refuge, where you can see white swans, Canadian geese, and a wide range of waterfowl. Alsea Falls, with its hiking trails, old-growth trees, and two magical waterfalls, is only 30 minutes away.
You can reach the coast within an hour. A few miles from the property, you’ll find a charming country store for all your needs. We’re also conveniently located for visits to Corvallis or Eugene — both within a 30-minute drive. We provide porta-potties, potable water, and a serene environment for your stay.
Don’t have a tent or camping equipment? No problem! We offer tents and all the gear you need for a great camping trip. Ask us about our camping kits — we can even set them up for you.
Things to consider before booking: we are on a secluded property with a variety of wildlife, including bears, cougars, bobcats, elk, deer, turkeys, snakes, hornets, yellow jackets, and more. We are actively working to remove poison oak, but it will be an ongoing effort.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Vista Tent! Everything was impeccably clean, all you could possibly need was provided, and the bed was SO comfy! The view from the tent was beautiful, and it felt very secluded and private. The sauna was a great extra bonus and the property was large with woodsy trails to walk around too. We would definitely stay again!

I loved glamping in the safari tent! I took my bestie for a quick birthday getaway. Sotero met us upon arrival and gave us a tour. The whole experience was amazing, even in the August heat! We will definitely go back! 10/10 🙂

We loved our time at Carly’s!! We loved it so much, we stayed an additional night. Every detail was thought of. Very well curated. It felt luxurious. And the sauna!!! Huge perk we went several times. Will definitely stay here again.
Two things to note: be physically capable of walking up a steep incline while carrying items to get to the TENT. The location and view are perfect and very private, but it’s a little workout to get up there for sure. Secondly there are many farm animals and dogs. The noise travels easily and it can be noisy late into the night. We still slept fine and loved our stay overall - but important to be aware of before you arrive.

We had a wonderful stay in the Safari Tent with our two grandchildren aged 5 and 8. They loved the pool and the beautiful field to run around in. Sotero was welcoming and a delightful host. The place has lots of fun touches. We brought a camp stove and cooked for ourselves. The small refrigerator in the tent was very handy, as was the accessible warm water for clean up. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely 2 night stay in one of the 2 tents on the property, the “Safari” tent. All very well maintained and immaculate. Sotero was super friendly - uncovering the pool so we could swim, setting us up with lawn games, and with crafts for our 5 year old granddaughter.

We enjoyed our stay at Miranda’s Farm so much!!!! The Safari tent was beautiful, felt luxurious and was so comfortable. Our daughter loved the pool and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub.
Sotero was an amazing host, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

A truly stunning spot with all the amenities one could want. The bed is cozy and comfortable, the view to die for, the outdoor cooking area spacious and well outfitted, the fire pit cozy. We had a great time camping at Miranda’s farm! Sotero was so funny and kind. And, they thought of eveything. So many cute little details. We loved having the pups off leash so they could explore while we soaked in the hottub. Also, the fridge, microwave, and water dispenser were a great addition. And, the composting toilets were actually pretty cute! It’s a little closer to the road than we thought but once you’re inside and see the views, none of that mattered! Will totally go again!
