Little Riverbend farm was established in 1996 by Dave and Traci Bitler. The original property was settled sometime in the mid 1800s with the main house built sometime between 1872-1875. Through several generations the property was passed between the original owners family members, then split up and sold into lots. When the Bitlers purchased the property in 1996, the main house was sold with 3 acres and the 2 stall barn. My family had a great time camper camping at Fancy Farm Wife Mercantile. We loved the goats that came out to say hello in the evenings while we enjoyed the campfire. We were able to say hi to some beautiful cows as well! Plus the chickens just pecking around being funny. We took some walks and bike rides down the pretty country road. The hosts were helpful and friendly.

His land was well kept and mowed. Garrett was a really nice guy. It was just six minutes from Ohio state reformatory. The tree line spot was nice because it rained allot but since it’s up on a hill our tent didn’t get flooded.

Quite peaceful location! Pretty easy to get to, just a titch off the highway. The turn around spot they put in is gratefully appreciated for larger rigs so didn’t have to worry about backing in off a road front! The host & hostess could not have been nicer and were so welcoming! Wish I’d have had time to chat with them more.

We loved camping out here! It was super peaceful and nice. There was only two down falls (weather sucked big time but it gave us more time to spend quality time together, and the grass is really long and unfortunately my mother in law did find a tick in her ear, we would highly recommend trimming it often to prevent any further issues). Otherwise Joshua and Rachael were amazing! They tried to help us with the shower issue we had but due to weather and our hot water tank going it didn’t work out, but we managed!
They offered to give us info on local spots etc. overall just an incredible experience. We would definitely camp here again!

Our very first night as life time mobile living. It was completely random and I'm not sure how our night would have ended without HipCamp or Joshua's home for us to stay in that night. Living city life all the time, and waking up in their backyard was actually quite beautiful and welcome. We needed to leave a little later, and much unlike city life...they were very ok with us leaving late. I only needed to see them to hook up some electric. It took a few minutes for them to notice we had pulled in, but again...this is their backyard they are letting us stay in for a very nominal fee. It was as advertised and worth anyone's boondocking or traveling needs
