Quite undisturbed forest for 1/2 a century, used for duck hunting in the previous owners family for decades. I’ve started building a small cabin that’s unfinished hopefully completing in the coming years. Fishing pond and small seasonal creek flows after lots of rain. Excited to share it with others! A small homestead on the bank of Abbotts Creek near where it feeds into High Rock Lake. Peace and solitude , but close to the amenities of town. Less than a five minute drive to the grocery store, and less than a fifteen minute drive to uptown Lexington. Public access for kayaks is less than half a mile away. And the view is unbelievable!
We have a corn hole board and bags now available for use, as well as a few other yard games. Please let us know if you are interested in using them.
The edible landscape is available for you to enjoy. A list of current available items is posted in our greenhouse, as well as baskets for picking and foraging.

My stay at this property was truly wonderful. The space is beautiful and thoughtfully crafted, with so many touches that make it feel special. Sitting on the swing overlooking the tall trees, relaxing in the hammock, and taking a cold outdoor shower made the whole experience feel grounding and restorative. It was the perfect reset during my road trip. Natellie is a fantastic host and communicated clearly throughout my stay.

Had such a great getaway at this site. The cabin was amazing, everything you could need. So much care and attention was appreciated. You don't need to bring anything other than some clothes and a few groceries.
The views were beautiful and the weather was great.
The bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby even with Jack hee hawing. 😄
Loved my stay and will be back!

This camp spot is so beautiful! The property has lots to explore, the cabin comes with everything you need so you can pack light. You can tell how much care and thoughtfulness has gone into this space. We loved meeting all the animals! The only downside is it’s close to a main road/highway so you easily hear the traffic. However, if you’re looking for somewhere close to restaurants, shopping, etc, this is perfect because you feel secluded enough but are minutes away from all of that. The owners were so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

(Jack the donkey is awesome) The cabin is cozy, spotless, and full of character with handcraft the details. The hosts are incredibly sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful property with variety of farm animals and endless relaxation at your fingertips! The cabin is not too far from the host’s home but feels secluded at the same time. They offer as much privacy as you would like while also being readily available to assist. Amazing garden with herbs and nuts to share! They even came out one evening to introduce us to their baby ducks and chickens. Outhouse is clean and well stocked. Absolutely loved cooking on the old stove! Highly recommend this spot! Camp site also looked amazing :)

We had a great stay in this little cabin. The farm is charming and beautiful… so if you need to get away from the city, this is a great option. The cabin is nice and rustic, and we greatly enjoyed using the wood stove. The hosts are attentive and responsive. Great place to stay with kids.

Our hosts were fantastic and supplied every possible convenience for us. As mentioned before, Jack the donkey is very friendly, and the stars at night are fantastic. The cabin is facing the rising sun, so be prepared for a lovely sunrise as well. :). We were looking for a "Little House on the Prairie" experience and this cabin didn't disappoint . The downtown is cute and the museum has hands-on things for kiddos. My kids are already asking to come back!
