See you all in the Spring! We hope you enjoy Pooh's Corner as much as we enjoy having all of you great Hipcampers sharing our beautiful Fingerlakes Region with us. Pooh's Corner lies in a rural area just 1.5 miles from Watkins Glen. (3315 County Road 28, Watkins Glen, NY 14891). We took great care to make sure each campsite is PRIVATE (parking on-site*) and the trails are easily navigable. Our 'Welcome Shed' is equipped with a compost toilet, local information, (newly added) Hot Water Station, first-aid kit, charging station, bug spray etc. and is located in a safe, well lit, open area on the property. Each site is equipped with a fire pit and comfortable seating with tables, chairs, and/or picnic tables and tripod grills. Firewood is available on a donation basis. There are State Parks and places to hike one of the many gorges around beautiful Seneca Lake and surrounding area. Take a tour of the many wineries and breweries which our region is famous for. Enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, kayaking, and many historical sites to see. Our reviews tell it all. We know you'll love it here :) *PLEASE NOTE: Our sites are custom made for TENT or CAR camping. Because we have "parking on-site", Large RVs, Campers (over 16'), and any 5th-wheel campers are very difficult to place since there are no easy ways to back in or turn around. We highly recommend "Havana Glen State Park" (same general area) for those types of camping units.

You will learn firsthand what off–grid glamping is like…and that includes a hot-water shower. Located atop of a mountain nestled in a breathtaking natural Glen built by millions of years of erosion. Are beautiful spring feed creekway runs through the property with winding trails. A great place to escape the city and enjoy nature. Wild life surrounds this gully with morning and evening visits from deer and other creatures. So far away but still close enough to grab dinner 15 minutes to Ithaca or cookout on our private fire-pits or bbq grill. You will have access to a spring feed shallow pond at the top of the property. A short hike away. Remember this is a ravine. Bring hiking boots or sneakers and water shoes for those adventurous times. You will have access to the hemlock and fern forest, blackwalnut trail, the Vintage Orchards and Raspberry Fields(coming soon), the gull, ravine and creekway. As well as access to a public discovery area. We have free parking on sites. There is no traditional electricity. Water can be collected and transported to sites from the water connections. We do not have showers facilities built yet but will have them up by next season (solar shower available). , some sites are vehicle pull-up and others are walk-in sites. You can pitch your tent or hang a hammock in the trees.(we will be building platforms and have preset up tents and cabins available next season. As well as winter getaway camping(winter202). We are also improving your experience everyday. Come and visit a non cramped, very well spaced out more private nature experience. We have a beautiful place and would like to enjoy it with others. You can have a private stay or hit the trails and make a new friend even if it's a chipmunk... Most sites are under the tree line and not in an open field. We allow one vehicle per site others can be parked at parking area at entrance. We offer a sunrise , sunset public viewing area for breathtaking sky color shows and tree dances from the wind. Just 2 miles above the SUNY Binghamton Campus. This camp offers a Country/Forest/Meadow/Creek setting with 4 acres is just 2 miles above SUNY Binghamton Campus on a quite road in the Town of Vestal. Set up at "Sunny Meadow" for open lawn closer to driveway and port-a-potty. Maybe you feel like hanging hammocks to setting the tent at "Creek Side" site down deeper in the forrest. The property runs from Brown Rd. to Powderhouse Rd. All 4 corners are marked with bird houses and along the property line on the North. A fire pit area with benches and lots of level space to pitch tents. Our close to nature spot offers open level lawn, rolling forest and Sugar Creek passing through. Property is lined with Blue Bird houses along with an Owl House, Bat House and a Fox Den.(Not sure what's been occupied so far.) We are building a nature preserve with song birds singing, frogs crooking and deer passing though the area. The road features some beautiful homes and ask guests to show courtesy and to be a good neighbor. Please understand that our property is in the process of removing the dying Ash Trees (Emerald Ash Borer is a problem) and ask for campers to set up near open area/driveway and not the site in the middle of the woods. We are just going to be extra cautious until our removal and re-planting process is completed.**PLEASE NOTE** Cell service is 1/4 mile at top of hill going North toward Fuller Howell Rd.

We absolutely loved staying here! We are full-time trailer-towers and have a sweet older pup. Although we booked stays at Treman as with previous years, this time required four moves in two weeks, so I looked for alternatives. Summer Dream popped up only 15 minutes from my Dad's house near the Commons. PERFECT! Tina is a lovely host - from the first conversation to our goodbyes, she made sure we were comfortable and then some. The area where our trailer sat was level, drop and go. You do need to be right next to her trailer though, as the hookups are in an enclosed box behind her trailer. The land was treed and mowed, with a cute picnic table, a fire pit, and wood available. The best part was the quiet, as cars were not frequent and nobody walks by. We were able to walk a few miles daily with no issues which was wonderful for the dog. I'm already looking forward to next year, so better beat me to it! :)

This is my second time here visiting upstate NY! Poohs Korner is my favorite place to camp. Not only do I feel safe, but I love the fact that it’s still camping, and the amenities are close by! The compost toilet is genius, & Mike and Sheryl are so sweet! Minutes from downtown. If I ever come back to Watkins Glen. I will always book with Pooh’s Korner.

Perfect for our one night stay on a long road trip! Very close to Watkins Glen, amenities were exactly what we needed, campsite was pretty private, host were very nice! We did have a campsite cat that was overly invested in our cooking but too cute to be mad at. We would definitely come back!

We had an absolutely beautiful weekend camping at Pooh's Corner! The campground is incredibly peaceful and private - exactly what we were looking for. Each site feels tucked away, surrounded by nature, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. Quiet, untouched, and full of peace. Our small dog, Luna, enjoyed the trails that are available. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and you can tell the owners (Matt & Cheryl) really care about keeping it that way. We loved sitting by the campfire at night, listening to the quiet, starlit nights and waking up to birds and sunshine in the morning. It was the perfect escape from the noise and rush of everyday life. It was a breath of stillness. Location is ideal as it is close to Watkin's Glen and numerous wineries on Seneca Lake. Matt and Sheryl were lovely. We didn't get in until after dark but they met us when we arrived and since no one else was expected while we were there they let us choose a site closer to the bathrooms. They gave us a tour even in the dark! Everything was cute and clean. They even have hot water.

The location was perfect! We were just a short drive from Watkins Glen, Buttermilk Falls, and Taughannock. The site itself was spacious, with full hookups and plenty of room for our two doodles to play. Tina was a wonderful host—attentive and friendly, checking in each day without ever being intrusive. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely camp here again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Experience at Pooh’s Hideaway! We had a wonderful stay at Pooh’s Hideaway! The hosts, Matt and Sheryl, were incredibly friendly and welcoming — they came to greet us personally when we arrived and took the time to explain everything in detail, including all the facilities we could use. The campsite was peaceful and well-maintained, with a nice picnic table, hammock, and fire pit setup that made it feel cozy and comfortable. The location was quiet and surrounded by nature, perfect for a relaxing weekend. We really appreciated the clear communication and thoughtful setup — everything was clean, organized, and easy to find.
