stayed at windfall for only a night but it was so fun!! the area by the stream is so pretty, and relaxing at night. they provided us with the little things we forgot haha and were always asking if we needed anything. Wendy, Ty’s mom, showed us around their home- which included giving us fresh produce and seeing their animals. They also recommended fishing spots around the area. We really liked this area, especially in the fall, the towns surrounding it were super quaint and the people were kind. Do not forget your food like we did cause there are not many restaurants/ grocery stores surrounding the area!!!! if you are looking for a place that to get away i highly recommend :))

it was a fantastic 2 days trip
the host was so nice to give me organic jam for morning toast and organic vinegar that they made! i was so relaxed and happy all the time i was there! i also went to finger lakes regions from there was a near drive! I would like to come back here again thanks to the host!

Our family (with little kids) absolutely loved Ty’s Pine Grove tent site. We all played in the creek and walked the trail. We had complete privacy. No cell phone service was a great addition. We can’t wait to book for longer next time!!!

Ty’s land is absolutely gorgeous. I came with a group of friends and we hung out in the creek most of the time. The trees keep the whole area shaded and cool. No cell service was refreshing, and if we really needed it we could drive down the road or use the WiFi Ty kindly provided - Ty also brought us some homemade dandelion jam! We felt secluded and secure. Would love to come back sometime.

Spent 3 of the hottest days of the year at Windfall, staying cool and practicing my backpack camping skills, and it was LOVELY! I didn't see another person the entire time I was there, which is just how I like it. I had no signal on the street that Ty's land is on, so make sure you communicate with him before you get there! He did, however, let me know how to get service near the buildings. The site was very large, with a table and chairs and a firepit...all I needed to "rough it". A little ways down a path is a tent with a portable toilet in it and a table with basic toiletries...as well as a pamphlet on a local "celebrity", the Truxton Beast, which was a really fun touch. This was a great little spot for a quick getaway and exactly what I needed!!!

Great views next to the river, great place for a fire. Vivian is very responsive and communicative, even provided me with an adapter I did not have.
