The UACNJ Observatory at Jenny Jump is a short drive, or a nice hike, from the property where free lectures and observing are open to the public every Saturday evening from April through October. My property is an old blueberry farm. There is a cleared area that I use for dog training at the front of the property and some trails throughout the property; but mostly it’s a quiet place to sleep in a small/medium sized self-contained RV without slide-outs to the side (your RV or van must contain a toilet which must be emptied off-site. Further note: I DO NOT allow tents). Also, if your RV has low clearance, there is a slope from the road to the driveway, thus the bottom of your RV may scrape the ground (neither of my vans have a problem with this: I have a Ford E350 and a Ram Promaster). If on the site in July, you can pick a pint or two of blueberries (IF they are available) for your own use. The berries are chemical free. My neighbor to the right also has a pick-your-own farm with tended blueberry fields (you are not allowed to pick my neighbor’s crop unless he is there so you can pay him) My site is in the NJ Pine Barrens which is renowned for its unspoiled nature, abundant, and diverse wildlife. It is also within the Pinelands National Reserve and within the area designated by the United Nations as an International Biosphere Reserve. Nearby is the Batona Trail, the Franklin Parker preserve, canoeing on Chatsworth Lake or the Wading River, bicycling through the Pine Barrens and and the cranberry bogs on the bicycle lanes on Routes 532 and 563, the quaint village of Chatsworth also known as the Capital of the Pines, Hot Diggidy Dog a food stand within the village of Chatsworth, and Brendan Byrne State Forest which includes the historic cranberry farming village of Whitesbog where the cultivated blueberry was developed by Elizabeth White and Dr. Frederick Coville. The Whitesbog Preservation Trust which manages the village has an extensive year round calendar of events and a month-long blueberry festival during weekends in July.

Would definitely come again! The site was beautiful. The fire pit, benches, and lights in the tree were so cozy and peaceful. We saw the second site and was amazed! We loved walking around, Shawn was always available if we needed to call or anything. It was so quiet and far away from people and still had service. We really enjoyed our time.

The upper site is beautiful. Plenty of secluded space with good hammock trees around a good, established fire pit. There's a little loop trail a little uphill from the site for an easy ~ 1/2 mile hike. We were pretty careful with food and trash cleanup, and had no critter visitors. Pleasant! That upper site is fairly easy access with enough clearance. Most SUVs could drive up just fine, right up to the site, but probably not most cars. It's only about a 5 minute walk up from easy parking though, if needed. I'll say the drive was a little overgrown and could use a trim so as not to scratch the paint, so if I came back I'd want to bring a hedge trimmer. There is a lower site too but we didn't spend time there, and it didn't look nearly as inviting.

I love this site. This was our second year coming back to Sean's place. And there were some small upgrades from last year that were lovely. They built a bench around the fire which was helpful for extra seating and for putting out some cooking gear. They also added some little lights to the trees to make it feel cozy. There are plenty of flat spots for your tent and it is super quiet so it gives the feeling of true wilderness camping without being out of cell range. Hard to find a spot that quiet anywhere else in the area. Its a 10 minute drive to Jenny Jump State park and we attended their Saturday night astrology lectures that they do from April to October. Great place to camp out for a few nights.

Abraham, the host, “made” this site! He was accommodating, helpful and so pleasant! The site wasn’t what I was expecting (I thought it would be in a more rural setting because dogs can be off leash) however I stayed because Abraham was so darn nice. My dog and I had a very restful, relaxing stay.

Had a blast with a bunch of friends. Decent size piece of land with a lake/pond. We used 2 cabins. Plenty of picnic tables to use. Bathrooms are only a short walk from the cabins. Will was very accommodating. I'm sure we will be back.

I recently spent a weekend at Great Times Camp Ground through Hipcamp, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, relaxed, and totally immersed in nature—yet with every comfort I needed. What stood out: • Peaceful & Scenic Setting The campsites are nestled in beautiful woods, with plenty of privacy. Waking up to birdsong and filtered sunlight through the trees immediately recharged me. • Well-Kept Grounds & Amenities The entire site is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out. Paths are easy to find, sites are level and spacious, and facilities (restrooms, water points, etc.) are all in good shape. It strikes a great balance: rustic enough to feel like real camping, but convenient enough to feel comfortable.

Excellent camping spot at end of the driveway with porta potty. We didn't explore up to the second campsite until the morning, but WOW. Very cool site. Also a great little network of trail loops you can explore the property on. Great stop on our multi day car trip.

Brendan’s property is beautiful and private yet close to everything. The sunset was gorgeous! Driving with our 21’ trailer was easy off the main highway. We loved our stay. Brendan was an awesome host and brought us firewood and a fire pit. I totally recommend this site for relaxation and privacy.
