Nestled in the mountainside in Morris County this 10 acre farm estate is home to a plethora of wildlife, small lake, and large brook that runs through the property. We live in a 1987 geodesic dome home on the property. Additionally, our self-converted 2002 International Blue Bird school bus is parked here. There is plenty of room for you to park in the circle driveway or to the left of the dome.
Enjoy our large, fenced backyard with plenty of room for activities. We have yard games available (Yard Yahtzee, Spikeball, Molkky, lawn darts, and more) and you're welcome to bring them to the beach. Crab traps, fishing poles, and a cooler are available too. Fourteen miles of hiking trails offer magnificent views of the mountains and scenic Mountain Lake. The UACNJ Observatory at Jenny Jump is a short drive, or a nice hike, from the property where free lectures and observing are open to the public every Saturday evening from April through October. Camp next to a peaceful trickling creek just outside Phoenixville and Kimberton. We are a suburban oasis, surrounded by a little bit of everything. Our homestead has plenty of activity including kids, dogs, and chickens, and bees! We have a fully wooded area available to explore across the creek, and weather dependent- the creek is a great place to stay cool. You'll see lots of growing fruit trees in our developing orchard and we are happy to share our vision for this beautiful land!
We have two campsites available for you to choose between for your stay. Both sites are along the creek, however, one has a view of some nearby houses and is a short walk to the parking spot [Creekside]. The other site is more secluded, past the tree line, but a further walk from where you are able to park. [Hillside] If needed, we are happy to lend you a wagon to haul your gear. Please let us know if you have questions and your preference of site.
We have a cabin-like bathroom and partial kitchen you will have access to during your stay. We always have cold water available for purchase in the fridge. There is trail access easily accessible from our home (the closest is approximately 1 mile), for paved or natural trail exploration. We are are a great stopping point for cyclists enjoying the area.
It's a short drive to downtown Phoenixville with some of the best breweries around. Phoenixville is home to a great farmers market on Saturday mornings and numerous festivals. Also, close-by is the lovely quaint village of Kimberton, home of the best organic grocery store and many opportunities for hiking and small farms.

Just a short drive away, explore Wharton State Forest's vast trails, enjoy a peaceful day at Hammonton Lake Park, step back in time at historic Batsto Village, or relax by Atsion Lake with hiking and fishing.

The space is just off our driveway, along side our horse fence.
Additional things to note: This is our personal, farm, and business property. Expect some come and go traffic, our kids playing on the property, and pets roaming. We do our best to respect your privacy but note you’re only about 150 feet from our home and immediate lawn. On Weekdays we have several employees meet here to load landscape equipment and leave for the day. Some noise may be heard at that time (around 8AM Monday - Friday)

The place was amazing! The site had a lot of space, tables, and sitting areas to use, and bunnies right by the site for us to look at. Only drawback (of the trip, not the site!) was that we camped out during a storm so it got muddy - to be expected.

Would definitely come again! The site was beautiful. The fire pit, benches, and lights in the tree were so cozy and peaceful. We saw the second site and was amazed! We loved walking around, Shawn was always available if we needed to call or anything. It was so quiet and far away from people and still had service. We really enjoyed our time.

The upper site is beautiful. Plenty of secluded space with good hammock trees around a good, established fire pit. There's a little loop trail a little uphill from the site for an easy ~ 1/2 mile hike. We were pretty careful with food and trash cleanup, and had no critter visitors. Pleasant!
That upper site is fairly easy access with enough clearance. Most SUVs could drive up just fine, right up to the site, but probably not most cars. It's only about a 5 minute walk up from easy parking though, if needed. I'll say the drive was a little overgrown and could use a trim so as not to scratch the paint, so if I came back I'd want to bring a hedge trimmer. There is a lower site too but we didn't spend time there, and it didn't look nearly as inviting.

I love this site. This was our second year coming back to Sean's place. And there were some small upgrades from last year that were lovely. They built a bench around the fire which was helpful for extra seating and for putting out some cooking gear. They also added some little lights to the trees to make it feel cozy. There are plenty of flat spots for your tent and it is super quiet so it gives the feeling of true wilderness camping without being out of cell range. Hard to find a spot that quiet anywhere else in the area. Its a 10 minute drive to Jenny Jump State park and we attended their Saturday night astrology lectures that they do from April to October. Great place to camp out for a few nights.

Great site! Our group enjoyed the setup immensely. Nice fire pit and folks appreciated the port a John onsite as well. Our group wasn’t that big so we only walked up to the second site but it looked pretty cool too.

This was our second time staying on Richard's land and at Creekside. As usual, we had a lovely overnight camp there and were delighted to see the goats and chickens again this year! The creekside location is really nice and quiet and it's a treat to get to listen to the sound of the creek as you go to sleep and wake up in the morning. Our cycling team hopes to continue our September camp tradition as their hospitality is fantastic and the location is just so nice.

Excellent camping spot at end of the driveway with porta potty. We didn't explore up to the second campsite until the morning, but WOW. Very cool site. Also a great little network of trail loops you can explore the property on. Great stop on our multi day car trip.

We stayed here for two nights during Labor Day weekend, absolutely beautiful weather, no bugs. Good swimming hole in the creek and a stone skipping lake nearby. The abandoned house was fine, and overall quiet. This area is rich horse ppl mansions everywhere, I wasn’t worried about my safety at all. Great spot for my dog too and a nice walking trail. We weren’t bored. Around 9:30 am the host with police badge on windshield of truck came and told us there was a large group coming and asked us to leave earlier than check out time, he was cool though, and luckily we have very little to pack up. There is also a camera at the site, but we felt like we were left alone the whole time we were there, and really weren’t bothered at all by the camera there. We would def come back here again, I felt like it was worth the money and a nice area! Nice camp site!

My teenage son and I stayed at Janissa’s amazing place for one night and it was lovely. As campers we had our gear but needed a couple things like electric and a safe serene place to stay. We had this and more and highly recommend you meet Janessa and Jesse…and the chickens! It was a quick stay and a bit to hot for us to make a campfire which had complimentary wood fire. That is a nice treat! Janissa showed my son and I her custom built skoolie which is awesome! Very cool vibe, a nearby swim lake with restrooms to freshen up and everything fun is close by. Hope to see you guys again and thank you for a great stay🙏🏻⛺️🌞
