This is primitive only camping, primarily geared towards cyclists that are bike packing the Cowboy trail. However, any traveling camper is welcome to the spot. Privacy, privacy, privacy. This site is one of one. No one else around. Even the host would contact you and ask if it would be OK for him to come up by you for what ever.
A hill with trees on the north of you, and trees to the east, south, and west of the camp spot. Eat to much for dinner, there is a very quaint little walking trail to settle your stomach.
We swag camped this trip, but you could easily get a camper to this location. The town has just over 300 people in it, I mention this because you don't have all the bigger town noise. Need to restock, a much bigger town is 5 miles away. If you wish to hear yourself think, this is a great location.
Verizon signal was 2 bars 4G. AT&T 5 bar 5G.
If you enjoy bird calls, this is a great place.
Our dog was allowed to run free, he loved it.
Shade can be a premium at times, we hung a 16' X 16' tarp, difficulty solved, yet, our solar panels flourished 500 watt panels brought in 420+ watts.
Firewood was provided and a nice concrete pad is around the fire pit.
Host checked in on us by text message and once offered to bring us anything we might need. We benefited a bag of ice from that offer and it was greatly appreciated.
I would like to return sometime, especially this winter.
If you have to be entertained, this location may not suit you. If you are secure and happy within yourself, this makes for a great stay!

1 night at Riverside Campground
What a wonderful surprise! Concrete pad with electrical hookup. Oh and windmills not a couple but over 30 on the property. An old one room school house, old cars and even a play ground from the school. And a sunset that would not quit. If you like a start ski this is the place.
When we got there the electric was not in but a simple call to Randolph got Henry (the owner) there in minutes to turn it on. What customer service. And then got a history lesson of the farm and the concerts that go on at the property.
Definitely a go back to site.
