It is one of 2 yurts with a center building between with a washer/dryer and storm shelter. A car port in front will protect your car from hail. Kitchen includes full size refrigerator, hot plate burner, microwave and toaster oven/air fryer. For cooks who prefer a more traditional oven/stove there is one in the center building. The space The circle of space in the yurt has 2 dividing walls to separate the bathroom and bedroom from the kitchen/living room space. We are located NW of Kearney in a rural setting. There are neighbors around us but not too close. Being this close to a town, there are many activities and places to go. A few miles to the West of us is Cottonmill Park which has a good sized lake and hiking trails. Within an hours drive there are fishing/boating and recreational lakes. The great Sandhills of Nebraska are just a little over an hour North to get to. Pioneer Village is South about an hour and the Hastings museum is about the same distance only a little East and South.

If you're looking for a private, peaceful stay with a great host, look no further. This site in located on an active ranch nestled in a private space on the back 40. Just feet from the river, it's a perfect spot to recharge the batteries. This is a primitive spot keep in mind, so bring everything you need for a off the grid stay and just unwind.

This was a wonderful stop on my post-retirement road trip. It's in a beautiful spot off the beaten track (aka Interstate 80). Both Karen and Marty were very gracious - Marty to me and my two dogs out to see the buffalo in his pickup truck, which was amazing. The Nest is cozy and well-supplied. I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Garland and Lorna were so kind and accommodating. The site was clean, quiet and perfect for us and our two dogs. It was convenient to the interstate for our cross country trip, and although it was just one night we would definitely stay again!

An exceptionally well built out addition to the barn loft. Modern, clean, comfortable, great literature! Did not get to tour property as owners were not present, but could see the buffalo herd from the apartment.

It was easy to pull-in and park our trailer. The site provided power & water and we had 3-4 “bars” of 5G using T-Mobile. Using the directions provided, we had no problem finding the location. The host was very responsive. We plan to return, next time we’re in the area!

A fun little stay on a bison farm! It was incredibly soothing to fall asleep to the sound of crickets and the bison. The view at sunset and sunrise cannot be beat. The place was perfect for my one night stop in town and had everything I could have needed! The shower and laundry were extra appreciated after a long travel day. Close to town and easy to access! Thanks for the stay!

Gorgeous spot! Hosts were so kind and helpful. We were facing some nasty weather and they made sure to let us know where to seek shelter with them if needed. It wasn't needed, but just the fact they cared enough to offer was so nice. Finding the place was easy, and the space is level and quiet.

This was honestly one of the best stays I've had, and one of the best night's sleep that I've experienced. At night I opened up the windows and the crickets serenaded me to sleep. In the morning I woke up to the birds singing, baby bunnies playing, and the herd of bison nearby. The hosts are wonderful people, and they give you everything you need for a perfect glamping experience. Town is nearby for food or anything else you need. As a bonus a school field trip arrived for a tour and I got to ride along with them, which was the perfect end to a perfect stay. I was ready to move in, it was such a great experience!

It was great listening to the birds and critters. It was on the side of the pole barn next to the power and water. It was quiet once the sun set and great sleeping there. Garland greeted me and explained to surroundings. It was a very pleasant stay all around.
