We have a 5 acre suburban campsite that is quiet, yet close to amenities. Located in south Lincoln between Highway 2 and the city limit, near shopping, restaurants, and breweries. Our property has a small seasonal creek with a walking path next to it and through a forested area and meadow. Cottonwood Creek Camp has one RV site and one Tent site. This can be a peaceful place to stay for a quick stop, an extended stay or even during Husker game-day weekends. We are 6 minutes from Southpoint mall which offers a shuttle to Memorial Stadium. Super Target, Aldi's and many other grocery stores are only 5 minutes away. Disc golf and mini golf courses are 2 miles away. There is also access to the Lincoln bike trails via our residential streets. Laundry is available on site for an extra fee.
Easy access off Highway 2 at the 68th/70th Street Exit, continue west via Saltillo Rd. and then north on 56th St.

The hosts provided detailed instructions and amenities information before my arrival, which made everything seamless. The site was easy to locate - no wandering around in the dark trying to figure out where to park - and I was able to pull in smoothly for the night.

The indoor community space was a real highlight. It’s one thing to have a place to park and sleep, but having access to a welcoming indoor area made the experience feel more like a retreat than just a parking spot. It was clean, well-maintained, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

Nice comfortable spot for our trip across the country! It was great having the indoor space to get a good shower and do a little work before getting back on the road. Had a little trouble with the direction from hipcamp but when we used the actual address, we got there just fine. Arrived in the dark and it was easy enough for our small rig to pull in and turn around to back up, but a bigger rig should just back in from the road.

We were a same day registration and were only there for an overnight, but we had a nice experience at Aaron and Megan’s property. Aaron met us there and gave us the information about the common areas, even though we did not use them, it was very nice to have available. The RV spot is on asphalt and flat which is nice. It is a back-in but there is plenty of room. It rained the majority of the time so we did not explore much other than to take the dogs for a walk in the neighborhood. The area is quiet and we had a peaceful night’s rest. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for something in the area.

If you are passing through Nebraska and need a comfortable and safe place to camp at a very fair price, please look no further than Aaron and Megan's little oasis on their grand property.
Aaron and Megan's sit was so wonderful on our roadtrip east (California to Michigan) that we decided to stay on their beautiful property again on the drive back! In addition to the well-kept yard where we pitched out tent, we had a comfortable interior space where we could keep items refrigerated overnight, heat food and relax in an air-conditioned space before heading out into the humidity we were less accustomed to. Not to mention, the clean bathroom and bath/shower where we were able to wash the road off of us. Beyond this, Aaron designed a pathway through a wooded area on his property where my sweetheart and I wandered and enjoyed the lightning bugs once the sun went down.
I wish I drove across the country more often just so I can stay here. Lincoln is wonderful too, by the way. We'd never been and we loved it.

Such a beautiful spot! The acreage had a walking path to connect you to gardens and new trees as well as old-growth Cottonwood, Elm and Ash trees. As I wandered though I even flushed up a covey of bobwhites!
The bath house and kitchenette are fresh and spotless. ...just a few feet away from camping. I hope to come back.
