If you are looking for quietude, this is your spot! Twenty acres situated minutes from lakes, rivers and US Forest Service land. Partly forested and partly pasture land, we boast Aspen, Fir, Spruce and Pine trees. Wildlife that commonly pass through include coyote, elk, deer and badger. 4 tent/small camper sites nestled in a wooded yard at the South East corner of the charming little town of Hungry Horse. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive from Glacier National Park. You’ll be nestled into the canyon that leads directly to the park. Feel cozy and comfortable in our scenic little side yard. Sites are small but allow plenty of space for smaller campers, vehicles, tents and all sites include a picnic table and access to a water hydrant! We do allow pets as well! An ideal location for those looking to explore all the Flathead Valley has to offer.
The 1.25 acre yard is on the end of a normally quiet street. The spots are plenty shady and cool given all of the tree coverage in the yard. Spots are all fairly flat and the perfect sizes for a group of tents or a small camper and some vehicles. Between sites 2 and 3 are hammocks set up for guests to use. There is a playground near by across the street at the old school for kids to enjoy.
***At this time, THERE ARE NO TOILETS so campers must be self contained. Due to previous reviews, we are trying to make this even more clear. We expect to have a port-a-potty set up by summer 2026. We do now have hydrants for clean, potable water!!! We are working on getting more amenities to these sites in the near future.
We do allow pets at this time but they must be leashed and looked after responsibly. There are other pets at this property as well as at surrounding neighbor's homes so please exercise caution and make sure pets are well behaved and polite guests. Thank you!

Upon entering Firefly Horse Co, we were greeted by the site of all the friendly goats, chickens, and HORSES! Julie's property was immaculate....each site set up with fire pits, picnic tables, and portable trailer with shower and toilets. Very Nice. The facilities were extremely well kept.

Loved this place! So peaceful and quiet, I really relaxed. We even stayed an extra day. The hosts are lovely. Quickly reachable when you needed information or had questions and good to chat with. They also had great recommendations of things to do in the area.
The space is located in farmland, mostly hay as far as I could tell (I have no experience on farms though). The RV space is covered in gravel and surrounded by grass and other vegetation. This area could be spruced up a bit (cutting the grass down even though it probably grows back quickly). You don't always get full hook-ups on Hipcamp. This was only our 2nd where all 3 were available (both 30 & 50 amps too) and that was definitely a big plus.
Obviously, the big attraction in this area is Glacier National Park. This Hipcamp is very close to the West Entrance which made it really easy to get to. We only had about a 1/2 hour wait in line for our 1:00 entry ticket to Going-to-the Sun road. The drive on this road was absolutely spectacular! There are many other places to go within the park too. On our host's suggestion we went out the East side on the way back, which was no longer than taking the GTS-road again to get back to the West entrance. We did avoid the crush getting out of the park.
The only negative was that there's no garbage pickup in the farm area, so you need to drop off your garage at the local dump. It's about 3 miles away.

The property is clean, beautiful, full of life. So many animals to pet and love on. The other campers were quite, friendly and respectful of each other.
The host and staff are kind and very helpful. If you have any questions they are more than happy to help or answer anything about the property and livestock.

We loved camping here! Came for a festival nearby so we didn’t have time to tour the farm and maybe experience everything it has to offer, but we really enjoyed being on such nice land surrounded by fun and friendly animals! The tenting spot was well maintained with a beautiful lawn and great veiws. We didn’t realize how close other campers would be to us, but we didn’t mind it though, it was just unexpected! Everyone was friendly and respected one another’s space. The only other thing we didn’t expect was the showers. I don’t think they were exactly as advertised, as the farm offered us a shower trailer for the weekend instead of what was described. Thankfully it was a very hot weekend so the cold showers were okay. And we understood that this trailer system was probably best as there were many campers booked for that weekend. The trailer had lots of space in the stalls and we appreciated having that to use. Again, it was just unexpected. For this great price staying here we had no problems! Julie was welcoming and kind and answered our questions. She offered us free coffee, power to use briefly for our air mattress, and was a great communicator during our stay. Next time we’d love to tour more of the farm. It was a great experience camping here and we would love to do it again!

Beautiful little spot just off the highway. Nice and close to glacier National Park, and a quick drive to Whitefish/Kalispell. The owners were so kind and the spot is great for exploring. Although there’s no washrooms on the premises, the gas station is close by. Couple cute coffee shops and baked goods right around the corner. We had 6 of us, and the three tents and vehicles had plenty of space in just the one site. We will definitely come stay again
