The Gallatin River is famous for it's fly fishing. A short walk and over the bridge will find you at a tributary of the Gallatin River, so you have two places to wade, fish or play in the water. The property is home to whitetail deer, turkey, and American eagles. The river used to be a tributary, but there was an ice jam that changed the river flow and now the river that runs past our property is the main river. A few good fishing holes off property.

great spot for a getaway with beautiful views. Check out the state park nearby or go to pony for the day! Just bought a motorcycle and the roads surrounding the property are great for any kind of activity from walking to running mountain biking and even riding motorcycles! All the animals on the property are gorgeous and the host is very welcoming! Be prepared to either be creative with leveling your RV in order to access sewer, or just bring a sewer extension hose as there is a very nice flatter area just out of reach for our sewer hose! Utilities were in great working order and our Starlink had a clear view of the sky!

Although it took us a few extra minutes, we did find the right place! The directions are clear but it was hard to pinpoint if that REALLY was the field we were supposed to be in. After a bit of hunting around, we saw the yellow arrow pointing to the right spot. Then we saw the markers for each of the sites. We were concerned that the field would be soft after all the rain but it was just fine. We had ring-necked pheasants and deer for company. Lovely quiet spot.

The cozy cabin is very comfortable and warm to stay in and the vibe is very relaxing. It is set up for two people max and the bathroom door offers limited privacy, so couples that are comfortable with each other are best We were traveling with dogs and it was nice to be able to walk through the pasture to the Baker Creek where they could play. There is also a bootleg disc golf course in the public land across Amsterdam Road Also. The host and homeowner are quick to answer any questions And they were very helpful.
