If you want to do something outside, we suggest Houser Lake at Lakeside with a bar and grill, a beach, fire pit, volley ball, etc. There is also guided boat rides at Gates of the Mountains on Holter Lake (about 20 miles towards Great Falls). If you are looking to go hiking, Mount Helena is a nice hike, but maybe a bit much for small kiddos, unless you have a backpack. There is a fishing access a mile down the road, or you can hike to the river which is approximately 1000 feet to the river. The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish also. The area always gets afternoon wind gusts that happen daily and don't last long but something you'll want to be aware of. On site we have available for rent 2 tiny houses and 4 Rv hook up spots. Our property also has a yurt, an additional tiny house, a skoolie and a motorhome. If you’re wanting to just get away to a beautiful spot, take a hike along the river, float the river or fish this is your place. It’s beautiful and quiet.

We loved everything about Date Street cabin. The location was a perfect spot for our Helena adventure. Beautiful little hollow and well appointed cabin. We loved our evening fire and the cool breeze while watching the deer play. We will be back!

4 nights at Cozy Cabin On 10 Acres!

The cozy cabin is very comfortable and warm to stay in and the vibe is very relaxing. It is set up for two people max and the bathroom door offers limited privacy, so couples that are comfortable with each other are best We were traveling with dogs and it was nice to be able to walk through the pasture to the Baker Creek where they could play. There is also a bootleg disc golf course in the public land across Amsterdam Road Also. The host and homeowner are quick to answer any questions And they were very helpful.
