Our property is close to town but far enough out that you feel secluded. We have wonderful dark nights with amazing views of stars. There is a fishing access a mile down the road, or you can hike to the river which is approximately 1000 feet to the river. The river isn't a real deep river, a lot of people use it to float on tubes, but it has been known to have some nice fish also. The area always gets afternoon wind gusts that happen daily and don't last long but something you'll want to be aware of. On site we have available for rent 2 tiny houses and 4 Rv hook up spots. Our property also has a yurt, an additional tiny house, a skoolie and a motorhome. If you’re wanting to just get away to a beautiful spot, take a hike along the river, float the river or fish this is your place. It’s beautiful and quiet.

We purchased the property in 2016 to share with travelers. There are three other rentals on the property. Learn more about this land: Shawn has been a nurse for 20+ years and understands the importance of a clean environment.  Take a step back in time. Imagine yourself as an original Homesteader in this early 1900's cabin. But with modern convinces. 5 minutes from Gardiner, Montana - The North Entrance to Yellowstone & Yellowstone Hot Springs. We provide delicious well water! Little Trail Creek runs thru the property. There are two rooms in the cabin. Dining table, kitchen supply hutch & wood stove in the main room.Two queen beds, a small cot in the bedroom. There is one chandelier and 1 outlet in each room. There is one extra cabin with one queen bed available for an additional fee. It is 4 feet from the homestead. It is only available for use by guests of the homestead cabin, so it is private. There is a gorgeous new shower house built in 2023. It provides a large walk in shower, vanity and sink, outlet and standard flush toilet.   Candles, oil lanterns, propane for the BBQ grill, campfire ring, camp chairs, wood stove, towels, hot springs & river towels, bedding, pots, pans, utensils, basic camp supplies are all included! There is a separate shack with an electrical outlet, toaster oven, electric coffee pot, percolator, a single electric burner for the cooking supplies. There are 3 other rentals on this property. Each cabin has 1 - 1.5 acres of private use and are generously spaced out.The Homestead cabin is bordered by Little Trail Creek and the house pasture. There are 5 horses on site.  Absorkee Wilderness is in the back yard with thousands of miles of hiking trails. This is a Glamping experience. There my be wildlife - including bears, elk, deer, bugs or field mice at anytime. We have tried to preserve the Homestead cabin as much as possible to its original state. There are elk, deer, birds and other native wildlife on the property daily.

Located less than a mile from the NorthEast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The Range Riders is a rustic Airbnb lodging option for people who don’t mind communal bathrooms, creaking floors, and thin walls. It is a beautiful building with a lot of history and charm that shows it's age. Range Rider Accommodations Located in the town of Silver Gate, just outside the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park, sits the historic Range Rider Lodge. Construction began on the Range Rider in 1937 after the magnificent Beartooth Highway was completed. Whole logs were brought in from the surrounding forests and oil paintings depicting beautiful mountain scenes were commissioned to line the banisters of the second floor. The Range Rider was originally constructed to be an “indoor playground” for all of the tourists coming over the Beartooth Highway. Since its opening, the Range Rider, originally called the Gorham Chalet, has seen many wild times and brought a lot of entertainment to a small mountain community. Ernest Hemingway even used to frequent the bar and write. The original logs still stand and the Range Rider still possesses all of the magic that it has had since the day it opened. Over the years not much has changed, just enough so that people can continue to enjoy the Range Rider as so many have been able to in the past. Rooms in the Range Rider are available to be rented for nightly rentals. Rooms with one double bed start at $99.00/night and rooms with two double beds start at $184.00/night (these prices do not include tax). There are 5 communal restrooms; among them are 2 men’s showers and two women’s showers and two men’s restrooms and 2 women’s restrooms. The Range Rider is a rustic lodging option for people who don’t mind communal bathrooms, creaking floors, and thin walls. It is a beautiful building with a lot of history and charm but its age shows. The Range Rider Lodge is not for people looking for a luxury lodging option. It offers the bare minimum for your stay; the beds are comfortable and made with fresh linens and towels are provided for the bathrooms. The rooms are simple with just a bed and a table furnishing each room. The building warms up during the day but cools off at night depending on the outside temperature; to combat this we provide small space heaters in each bedroom.

A large mudroom/gear room/laundry room sets the stage for your endless adventures in the Cooke City - Silver Gate area. We've done our best to set the kitchen up with everything you could need to make most standard meals - pots, pans, baking sheets, and coffee supplies. YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN MILK/CREAMER, which you can get at the Sinclair or Cooke City General Store, a 3-minute walk away. Sugar, spices and cooking oil on hand. For dining out, Cooke City has several summer restaurants. Easy to get basic provisions at The Sinclair and The Cooke City General Store - actually, you must visit the General Store, it's AWESOME! You can make a full meal from what they offer, but for more variety, shop in Cody, Livingston, or Gardiner before arrival. We keep cooking oil and spice at the house. Whether you are renting to work remotely, need a basecamp for a month of wildlife viewing, or want to provide your family with a unique summer experience, this house will cover your basic needs with ease - shelter, kitchen, internet, and a shower. WE DO NOT HAVE A TV. THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE IN COOKE CITY and many places in the park and to the east into WY. You will want to use "calling over wifi" to make phone calls when you are in wifi, and using this option, your phone works as normal. NO SMOKING NO PETS We built this with our own hands, just the two of us! Thousands of hours of sweat, sometimes tears, a LOT of hard work, long days, missed skiing, and sacrifices. Yellowstone Holiday RV was great! I have never stayed at an RV campground before, and I was surprised and impressed with the staff! They called me to make sure about my linen preferences and even called day of to make sure that we were still arriving. The staff helped us park an extra vehicle at no extra charge and let us use the pier for a few hours after we had checked out. The bathrooms were VERY clean and the cabins are exactly as pictured. Would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for an affordable place to rest your head near Yellowstone (15 min drive to the gate!)

It was clean, nice, and comfortable cabin for a good price. It was nicer in terms of amenities than I even expected—Wi-Fi, solid A/C unit, and a table to sit at inside and outside. The bathrooms were nice and had showers, there was a place nearby to wash dishes that was super handy, and the grounds were nice too. The view is exceptional as well. Overall, a bang for your buck.

Me and my group has the best time staying in the cabins. We had 2 cabins and 14 people total and it was awesome!! The views were amazing, cabins were clean, cozy, and had enough space for all of us. Great location, we had lots of fun around the campfire and the lake, and the hosts were super friendly and amazing. Would recommend to anyone!!

What a beautiful and clean spot to stay! The cabin was perfect for our little family and the camp hosts were so friendly and helpful! The views were amazing and we wish we could’ve stayed longer but perfect for our road trip and access to Yellowstone NP. The mosquitoes were really bad so be prepared with repellent! We would highly recommend staying here.

We only stayed for 1 night but we loved it there. Everyone was super sweet and helpful. Allison in the office answered a bunch of questions for us and gave us a great dinner recommendation. We were surprised that up by the office we had a signal, it was nice to be able to connect with family back home. Super cool fire and chairs to sit out front. Room 11 was very nice , comfy bed and again surprised to have service in our room.

The cozy cabin is very comfortable and warm to stay in and the vibe is very relaxing. It is set up for two people max and the bathroom door offers limited privacy, so couples that are comfortable with each other are best We were traveling with dogs and it was nice to be able to walk through the pasture to the Baker Creek where they could play. There is also a bootleg disc golf course in the public land across Amsterdam Road Also. The host and homeowner are quick to answer any questions And they were very helpful.

We have stayed at all three of Josh’s cabins up historic Emigrant Gulch and it’s always been a good time. Nothing but beautiful trees, mountains and silence. The cabins are nice and always have plenty of firewood to keep you warm through the night (we have stayed up there twice now in the winter with temps below 20 degrees). The outdoor range is a plus and the compost toilets are sooo much better than a classic outhouse pit. Always a pleasure to stay in one of these cabins with this Looke’s Mill being the most spacious and family friendly. Josh and fam’s hospitality and quick communication is excellent.

Situated less than 5 minutes from I-90, with good trailer access, this could be a good location for those towing a trailer, or those traveling with livestock. The location of this cabin is about 10 minutes to Belgrade, 12-14 minutes from Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport, 1 hour from Big Sky Resort, 37 minutes from Bridger Bowl, 21 minutes from Bozeman, 1.5 hours from Yellowstone's North Entrance, and 1.75 hours from Yellowstone's West Entrance. This charming cabin rental is situated on the 10 acre, picturesque Almosta Ranch, where cowgirl-chic meets rustic elegance. Nestled amidst shady cottonwoods and the soft sounds of nature, this beautifully appointed cabin is the perfect getaway for those seeking a taste of the cowboy lifestyle. Baker Creek is only a 1/4 mile walk through a bucolic horse pasture, with some friendly equines. Across the street, you will find a 1/4 section of State Land, where you are welcome to ride with your horses, hire an outfitter to take you, or just go for a leisurely stroll along the creek. Depending on the time of year, a guest can enjoy mushroom picking along the cottonwoods of Baker Creek, and White Ditch, or birdwatch and horseback ride year-round. Step inside to find a warm and inviting space adorned with vintage Western-eclectic decor, reclaimed wood accents, original sliding barn door, and vibrant kitchen tiles that echo the spirit of the ranch. The open-concept living area features cozy seating, a dining area, and sleeping for 2 in a queen bed. The kitchenette features a cooktop, microwave, and fridge, with a sink and all necessary utensils, plates, cups, and bowls, as well as meal prep utensils and tools. Outside on the patio, you will find a grill and BBQ tools, with outdoor seating and table. For entertaining indoors, there is WiFi, and a SmartTV which is available for your streaming platforms. If you'd like to take a walk, you can head left from the front door, past the house on your left, and through the horse pasture, where you will find a gate that leads to Baker Creek.

NO DOGS! This is a working farm and we have dogs, sheep, goats as well as other animals. Adding yours into the mix of animals has proven to be more hassle than what it's worth. I've been at this for 16 years. Please ask questions before booking. Sneaking your dog(s) in doesn't work. We live on 40 acres of my husband's grandfather's original 160 acre homestead. We are the only ones still farming. They rest of the family have either sold off their land for big bucks or have built homes on it. We enjoy sharing our little piece of paradise in the Gallatin Valley.
