You're on the shores of Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake, this side of the Mississippi, and home of Wildhorse Island, where the Boone and Crocket world record Bighorn Sheep was discovered, killed by winter weather.
This 2160 acre island is also the home of deer, mountain lions, bears, several species of eagles, and wild horses. Day hiking is allowed and is a 5-minute boat ride from your beach spot. Just slightly over an hour to Glacier National Park and access to all the mountain lakes, rivers and streams to explore, you won't be bored. Right around the corner, you have access to a boat ramp at one of the state-owned Parks with public showers, if the lake water is too cold. These are great sleeping cabins nestled in the trees, with easy access. They are just steps away from a large pebble beach on beautiful Flathead Lake. Flathead Lake is surrounded by Swan Range in the north, the Salish Mountains in the west and the Mission Mountains in the east. Relax on the beach chairs or bring your kayak and enjoy a great day on the Lake. Sit around the camp fire in the evening, and watch the sunset. The Lake delivers firewood daily. We stayed in both cabins and they were excellent! Felt like true lake cabins, no frills and fanciness. Also the lakefront access was amazing! Dock and beach access for the day and a beautiful fire pit at night. Would highly recommend!

This piece of property had the elements I needed to relax after a long overdue planned vacation. The camp host was phenomenal at communicating and offered numerous local options in the area to eat at. They have 7 sites and we stayed at site #3 the deck offered a beautiful view of the water. Several communal sites with BBQ and pub style seating. The outdoor lights at night were so nice to have when night swimming. Had two dogs who loved swimming in the lake. Very well maintained property the owners truly take pride in this camp and it shows. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs to reconnect with Mother Nature!

A perfectly lovely spot right on the water, the sound of waves lapping the shore so enchanting to fall asleep and wake up to that! Alan is an outstanding host, great communication, extremely helpful getting into the camp spot so we were positioned just right to make the most of our stay. Two very sweet schnauzers, Digger and Gabby, stopped by to say hi. Overall a quiet, peaceful, fun, relaxing play to stay.

This location amazing! We had site #7 right next to the Lake, it felt private, had amazing views, and was equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay! My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and will have great memories of this place! The hosts were quick to respond to inquiries on amenities and keep the site immaculate! The location is well situated for adventures, we recommend kayaking to Wild Horse Island and visiting nearby Lakeside for Groceries and dining out!

Beautiful site right on Flathead Lake. Wide open space with a little tree cover near the lake that provides some shade. Expansive view of the lake & nice flat rocky beach to enjoy the lovely sunset. Alan and his wife were absolutely gracious hosts & met us upon arrival to get us settled in. They do not live on the property, but made it clear they lived nearby if we needed anything. The property also contains a wedding venue with a large tent & several out buildings nearby. There was no event at the time of our visit, but you could just imagine how spectacular it would be for a wedding site.
