Located just outside the town of Columbia Falls, our property sits on the Flathead River with over a 120' of waterfront. We are less than 1 mile from town and just 15 minutes from Glacier National Park. Conveniently located to serve as an ideal base camp for all of your exploring needs. As the towns motto says, 'Adventure Lives Here'! With over 20 years experience living in the Flathead Valley. We have extensive knowledge of the immediate area and happy to assist with any questions about your visit. Need recommendations for a hike in Glacier Park, or a restaurant for a romantic dinner?.. How about help planning a guided fishing trip?.. We can do that!!This campsite is located on a flat grassy bench perched just a few feet from the waters edge of the Flathead River. Guests will enjoy easy access to water activities, proximity to town and Glacier National Park. * Note: The host lives on-site in the home that sits just behind the campsite. The camping area is essentially the backyard. However, guests will have full access to the entire yard during their stay and privacy will be maintained with the upmost respect.

Breathtaking site
River Retreat Near Glacier Park
The property was amazing and our hosts were so hospitable. Chris let us know of all of the great things to do in the area (sights, restaurants, etc.), in addition to bringing us some welcome gifts! I would most certainly return, as a matter of fact, we're talking about booking for next year early.

What a beautiful setting ! Everything was just perfect! Chris and his wife treated us as if we’re staying in a 5 star resort . Chris gave us tip after tip on what direction we could head to experience the surrounding area and Glacier National Park . A great highlight to our stay was that we were able to fish the FlatHead River after being picked up by a fly fishing guide right at our campsite . I highly recommend this camp site . It is convenient to everything and peaceful. Chris is a real outstanding host and you are sure to cherish his knowledge, if you seek it!

This spot was a 15/10!!!!!! AMAZING doesn’t begin to describe the view and Chris’ hospitality! He went above and beyond to ensure we had all that we needed!!! It is for sure a must stay!

River Retreat Near Glacier Park
My husband and I are avid campers and have high expectations. We look for places that are private, yet offer options of entertainment and fun; amazing landscapes and close to any and all wilderness; and of course, a place that offers peace, comfort and relaxation - a short escape from the chaos of our busy every day lives. Chris' riverfront campsite exceeded all of my expectations. The river, the site, the private beach and the host were amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, including a great campsite, amazing river and mountain views, a guided float down the river from Chris, fresh cherries from the host's cherry tree, and serene sunsets complete with soft solar lit glows on the beach and hammock. Nothing short of perfect. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for great memories and being such gracious hosts!!! Many Thanks, Kate and BJ Shelly

River Retreat Near Glacier Park
Chris’ incredible spot, right on the river, was the highlight of our recent family RV trip to Glacier NP. Chris is an incredible host, with invaluable insights and ideas for activities in the area. He offers you a private beach, picnic tables, hammock and a big lawn. Truly special and unlike any other RV options anywhere in the area. You’re so close to Glacier NP (15 mins) and this spot gives you the ultimate flexibility and privacy you could want for an RV stay. We hope to come back and stay again! Thanks Chris!
