Montana Mountain Memories

Montana Mountain Memories is 11 acres with a 2 3/4 acre pond located in center. We have an RV, Tipi, Geodome, and two home units under Montana Mountain Majesty and Montana Mountain Moods. We have an orchard where the local herd of deer comes usually daily depending upon time of year, Osprey and Eagles have been seen flying over the pond, Fish jumping, and in fall and winter flocks of snow geese have landed. We have Canadian geese that fly over and often stop to enjoy our water and land for a rest.  Last year we added several families of Pea Fowl of different colors, one of which are white.  We have American Breese Chickens, Turkeys, and Bichon Frise dogs and puppies we raise as well.  There is a walkway around the pond for viewing the pond and to fish from when weather permits.  We have seating in the orchard and a Gazebo and BBQ for your enjoyment by the water's edge.

Small irrigated ranch in the Deer Lodge Valley, surrounded by mountains, access to public lands and beautiful scenery. East side of acreage has the Clark Fork River running through it, even though the neighbors are close still lots of privacy. Site provides a handmade rock fire ring and willows for privacy. Fire may not be available if it is dry conditions. Good fishing right out of your tent, short drive to several acres of public ground, ATV access, hiking, and mountain biking. This is an 80-acre working ranch with cows, sheep and hay so you may have to drive through the cows and you may have to deal with cowpies :-). Great cell service and private property on both sides, easy access to campsite. 10-minute drive to historic Grant Kohrs Ranch, old prison museum and many other unique Montana experiences.

Rainbow Gulch Farm

A small family farm working toward sustainability. Easy to access from I-90, drive in camping for a stop overnight or a home base while you explore the many attractions nearby.  For others, a walk in remote woodland camping experience with complete solitude after check in.Learn more about this land:...or in the adjoining field anyway! We are 20 miles east of Missoula, MT near the Kettlehouse Ampitheater in Bonner.  Our location is halfway between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park.  There are mountain bike paths, river access points for paddling, rafting or fishing within minutes of our land. We can even help you know where to go. Our land is surrounded by Nature Conservancy land with a public recreation easement, so you can hike and take your horse for a ride very easily. In a vehicle, you can pull into one of our pastures for your stay. Where you are depends on which field the sheep are eating! Tents also work in the field. We do not have any hookups. The fields are that - pasture fields. There are quiet neighbors across the fence. We are happy to offer advice about local attractions via messaging due to covid (rather than in person). This is pack it in, pack it outDuring the pandemic we ask that you wear a face covering if you have a reason to talk with us, even across the fence out of an abundance of caution since most of you are traveling from out of state. Tours are also temporarily suspended.

Located on a working cattle ranch in the secluded Flint Creek Valley, our hand built ranch offers 360 degree breathtaking mountain views and lush fields of free range grazing livestock. Your campsite is backed up to a large mix of deciduous and evergreen trees, offering both wind protection and ample shade.  We do have a 30 amp hook and water as well. Learn more about this land:Camping sites are in a grass hay field and are mostly level with some small variations in terrain due to gopher holes, etc. You will be surrounded by rolling hills, aspen groves, and conifers against a backdrop of Ovando Mountain and the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Wildlife is abundant here, sunrises and sunsets are magical, and the night sky is unaffected by light pollution. 420 FRIENDLY!!! This property is located less than 1/4 mile from the little town of Ovando, where guests can fuel up vehicles and purchase ice and grocery items from the Ovando Commercial Company, grab a bite to eat at Trixi's Saloon or The Stray Bullet, visit the museum, or talk flyfishing with the knowlegeable folks over at the Blackfoot Angler. There is also a post office, a river shuttle company, and a church.

Located in the Blackfoot Valley you will enjoy the endless views and access to some of the best public hunting and fishing the state has to offer. Plenty of room for the kids and dogs to play. You will stay at the historic Helmville Rodeo Grounds and enjoy the privacy and endless views.  Can't wait!
