A small cabin sleeps 4 with 2 queen beds and room to stake a tent or park a camper. Sits on 6 acres with a creek bed under large trees and overlooks a meadow. Includes an outhouse, potable water, grill, picnic table and a "smokeless" fire pit. Dishes, utensils, firewood and bedding included. Come stay in MT City; only 5 miles from all historic Helena has to offer! 4 restaurants/bars within walking distance(.5 mi.). 3 large lakes w/in 10 miles with beaches, boating and sight seeing opportunities; the Missouri river within 15 miles for fishing, boating, paddle boarding, hiking and biking. Come relax! Sleeps 4 in beds. Additional guests allowed with permission and fee (tents and/or or campers). While exploring Helena, we recommend the Walking Mall and the lower end of Last Chance Gulch for shopping and dining. You can also do a self guided tour of the Capitol building and then ride the tour train through Helena to get a quick history lesson. If you want to do something outside, we suggest Houser Lake at Lakeside with a bar and grill, a beach, fire pit, volley ball, etc. There is also guided boat rides at Gates of the Mountains on Holter Lake (about 20 miles towards Great Falls). If you are looking to go hiking, Mount Helena is a nice hike, but maybe a bit much for small kiddos, unless you have a backpack. Absolutely beautiful property. Thoughtful accommodations(games, solar powered flashlight/radio, books, hiking poles). Truly a wonderful experience. We didn’t encounter any bears but we did get to see a few deer. I recommend getting there during the light hours so you can find your way. Easy to follow instruction. Hosts are responsive and welcoming. Propane fire pit was a nice bonus. Our indoor heater was out of propane but we were comfortable. Bathroom and shower are down a little ways from the a-frame but not a bad walk. Definitely set up for a camper ready for a little glamp :)

We stayed in the rustic bunkhouse and it was so nice. I think it’s nicer in person than it looks in the pictures. Their dog OLF was an excellent host and made my dog feel very comfortable. Becky checked to make sure we had everything we needed and it was a very comfortable stay.

Kate and Ben's A-frame was awesome. Just a few minutes from the highway, but still very secluded. No other buildings or anything around. The cabin was super cute and cozy. And with the side open, there's a great view of the canyon during the day and the stars at night. Highly recommend!

What a perfect getaway spot. This cabin is nestled amidst hills and forest and is such a peaceful retreat from the world. The cabin has everything that you need to just unplug and the shower is amazing! A vehicle with clearance is a must to climb the last part of the drive, especially if it has been raining. I will definitely return!

Kate's land was beautiful, and the mini a-frame was so sweet and special. There has been a lot of thought put into the space. A nice balance of amenities offered, including yummy instant coffee! (like, really good instant coffee?!), kitchen needs and charcoal grill, hot shower, composting toilet and all the things you need to feel cozy to go to sleep. At the same time, we still lost cell phone service and were out in some degree of wilderness. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This was such a wonderful get away! We stayed here after our Yellowstone adventure on the way to Glacier National Park. Pam was so accommodating and her property is lovely. The soaking tubs outside at sunset were so cool and all the outside activities were a great addition. Will definitely have to come back for a longer stay. You could have your entire own wellness retreat here. Make sure to drink the glacier water for the well! It was the best water I've ever had.

Such an adorable place! Rarely do I find sites that are so kid friendly and even rarer mid AND dog friendly. Only problem that we had was it was HOT in the cabin at night after a full day, but our host was so helpful and brought us a box fan to cool it off quicker. The hosts were so kind and we really had a wonderful stay.

What a beautiful, peaceful place with a very accommodating host. The cabin and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. There was lots to do and I had a great time with my son. We were there for a little league baseball tournament and it was so nice to have a quiet and affordable place to relax between games. Loved all the lights at night. We will definitely be back! We loved staying at Pamela’s cabin in Montana. The cabins are well appointed, and Pamela has thought of everything. She has an entire shed full of toys and fun things for kids, grill for cooking and lots of other amenities. We only wish we’d been able to stay longer.
