Come enjoy peace and quiet in the beautiful meadows near our home. We are located on 40 acres that include forested trails, a large pond, two small ponds, a creek, and frequent wildlife as well as spectacular stargazing at night. All sites have a campfire ring and picnic table. We provide a unique eco-camping experience in contrast to the crowded campground/RV park, and we are only 6 miles away from the entrance to Glacier National Park!
Please let us know if you have multiple tents or vehicles as some sites may be a better choice for you than others.
No hookups are provided – dry camping only. Parking for larger vehicles/trailers is available at sites 1-6 - an open, flat meadow with the pond on the other side of the road. Tents are welcome in all sites; although, we recommend the back meadow sites (7 and up) for more secluded tent campers (especially in July) as it has less traffic and more privacy. Sites 7-20 (the back meadow sites) have parking for vehicles 26' or less in total length. All sites have access to vault toilets, and all sites are back-in sites with partial shade.
Because of the proximity to Glacier National Park and the main HWY, traffic noise and train noise can be heard at the campsites. Visitors are ask to keep their speed to a minimum to reduce dust on the dirt on Greens Road.
We are just a short bike ride away (two minutes by car) from attractions such as the Whiskey Barn, The Paul Bunyan Bar & grill, Glacier Hi-Line Ropes Course, and the Amazing Fun Center, maze, and mini golf.
It is also easy access to the Gateway to Glacier Bike path. E-bike rentals are across the street from us.
Closest Gas station is the Cenex in Coram (1.5 mi away).
Closest public (free) landfill dump is 2.2 miles toward Columbia Falls at 9626 Us HWY 2 E. Near Paul Bunyan Bar and Grill (which is also a good restaurant near us). Look for the gated entry and small sign marking Flathead Landfill.
Closest grocery is in Hungry Horse at Canyon Foods Grocery (3.5 miles away). There is a laundromat next to this grocery store.
Closest dump and water fill up for a vehicle with a holding tank is Mikes Conoco at 1645 9th st W in Columbia Falls (8.9 mi away).
Closest town with wifi, cafes, restaurants, urgent care and larger grocery stores is Columbia Falls (9 miles away).

Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property.

***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. Convenient basecamp for GNP exploration, it's only a 10-minute drive to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park. The site is within walking distance of several restaurants, grocery store, laundromat, gas station, post office, bar, dispensary, and souvenir shops with local products. It is also within walking distance of the old Hungry Horse School (200 North St) that has a great playground for kids. At the RV site, beautiful mountain views can be seen in the distance. Relax at the rear of the site at the picnic table tucked in with nature. Set up your lawn chairs on the small hill in the rear for a perched view of the site amongst the trees. Across the street is a small mini farm owned by a relative. She has goats, chickens, ducks, among other animals that can be seen from the street. This site is in a neighborhood, so expect to hear some occasional neighborhood activity. If you are sensitive to noise when sleeping, you may want to consider earplugs. Hungry Horse Dam is 4.5 miles away, with construction first starting in 1948 and completed in 1953. At the time of completion, it was the second-highest and third-largest concrete dam in the world. Annually, it generates about a billion kilowatt-hours of power from the water passing through. Hungry Horse is an unincorporated community and has a population of 634. We thought we'd take the camper out one last time before winterizeing it and so glad we did. This spot was amazing! The sites are far apart from each other so gives you privacy between neighbors. The campground was so clean, restrooms were kept up and so many fun things for the kids to do. It was safe and the views were so beautiful

Excellent camp site in a great private location! Plenty of space for a 34’ fifth wheel and truck, level ground, and ample space for slide outs. Great distance between sites as well as activities for the kids. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot! Perfect place to stay when visiting Glacier National Park. Very close to the entrance- we had a wonderful stay with our dogs. Plenty of space for our big dog to run free. The site was clean, spacious and great with a fire pit and table. Everything we needed. We would stay again without hesitation!

We loved pulling into this campsite! It was beautiful to pull into and wake up to. We got to see plenty of deer and enjoy a nice fire under the stars! A close 9 minute drive into the West Glacier National Park entrance was very convenient. Would definitely go back!

I am very grateful to my past self for unintentionally arranging my travel plans such that I was able to spend a leisurely afternoon & evening plus a nice slow morning enjoying all that The Mooseshroom has to offer. Terri was an incredible host, and my little dog and I felt so welcome and relaxed. It was truly a rejuvenating stay and a must-visit in the Glacier area.
