Conveniently located 45 mins outside Missoula, 25 mins from Philipsburg & 50 mins from Discovery Ski Mtn.
Some things to note: this is a working ranch, meaning there are cows and family members tending to the animals (not in the yurt’s private area, but surrounding it); in the winter, the concrete pad the yurt stands on can be slippery, so please be aware and utilize the provided ice melt in the bucket by the side door when needed. In spring, the ranch can quite muddy; please keep vehicles on the rock driveway only. Boot trays are provided by both doors.
Extra cleaning fees apply if pets are staying in the yurt.

We loved staying @ Mentzer Ranch. Calvin & Harriet were such kind & friendly hosts. We got to pet the cows and learn all about the ranch. Also, they have Wi-Fi, which was a surprise! Beautiful place , very calm highly recommended.

Megan and Jay were wonderful hosts!! Even though we arrived much later than expected, they were so kind to welcome us and guide us to our private, peaceful campsite. We woke up next to donkeys and horses, also being greeted by Tom the hipcamp dog! We were surrounded by mountains by day, and glimpses of the milky way by night. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful campsite.

What a nice, quiet and relaxed spot to stay for the night! We arrived to super frie day dogs and found ourselves camped out on a lush lawn for the night.
Beautiful Arabian horses greeted us in the paddocks and 2 wonderful grey cats helped us to find our way around.
The little creek pouring through the property was peaceful and calming.
Views of the mountains around d the valley were spectacular.
Site had water and power and a fire pit with picnic table.
