The whopping 3.1 million acres of rugged mountains and buttes are home to endless wildlife. Keep an eye out for moose, mountain goats, and bighorn sheep. Want easy access to Big Sky? Nestled on 60 acres you'll find a private campground in a cottonwood grove just across a log bridge over Miner creek. Across the gravel driveway you'll find a second campground that is tucked back in a secluded cottonwood grove, and further down the driveway, you'll find the 3rd campsite. The campgrounds are 5 minutes to the charming historic downtown of Livingston and the Yellowstone River, 20 minutes to Bozeman, 20 mins to Pine Creek Lodge and an hour to Yellowstone National Park. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly to other dogs. Our dogs freely roam the property. **All sites share an outhouse located in the parking area by the trail to camp #2. It is only onsite from May 15 to Oct 15. #1: "Creekside Oasis" campsite has a picnic table, fire ring, a hammock, solar lighting, and a small portable charcoal grill. Although you can car camp at # 1, please note that the camper spot is just off the gravel driveway, and not across the creek where the tent site, picnic table and fire pit are located. #2: "Off the Beaten Path" campsite requires a short 1-2 minute walk on a tight, uneven path through the trees. It is a small campsite with a fire ring, 2 camp chairs and solar lighting. Do NOT rent this tent site if you need to be close to your car. This site is not on the creek. Creek access is down a trail to the left off the parking area. #3: "Not for the Faint of Heart" campsite is a 2-3 minute walk from the parking spot on an uneven, tight trail through the trees. It has a fire ring, two camp chairs, solar lighting, and a small portable grill. Do NOT rent this tent site unless you are ready to explore and do not need to be close to your car. Make sure you arrive before dark because although the trail is lit by solar lights even with headlamps it can be tricky to find your way through the trees. Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. The creek is not right by the tent site like it is in campsite #1. There is a small break in the bushes that gives creek access. *For all sites we recommend storing your food in your vehicle overnight. *For all sites you need to bring your own firewood and charcoal.

Amazing site! Very private, pull through that has plenty of woods to block the road (rarely saw any cars). Beautiful spot in the woods with a wonderful fireplace. Close to Chico hot springs but far enough away to think you’re the only ones out in the woods. Would definitely stay here again!

It was lovely! We were close to Yellowstone and close to town to go out to eat if we didn’t want to cook at camp. The sound of the creek was peaceful. When we first pulled up, we thought we saw a bear, but it was a dog named Louis. He helped us unpack when we first got there and kept us company for a bit. ☺️ There are two ways to get to the site which is by walking over the logs or going on a mini trail path.

Cool camping spot on private land near Livingston. Far enough away from the freeway so you don't hear traffic noise. I stayed in camp #1 with my camper trailer. A little bit tight parking in the spot but do-able. A timber bridge separates the firepit and grill from the rest of the space. The bridge is probably not great for people with balance issues or little kids. But me and my dog loved it. Firepit area is very shaded and has lots of string lighting and also hammocks. All in all a fun and unique camping spot. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome place with plenty of room, Roger was awesome! We stayed at site 1 which wasn’t directly on the river but it was a short trail to the river and you had your own private beach. I actually drove my truck down the trail and made it to the beach. 100% recommend.

Peaceful location, loved being near the River. Also nice to have a very clean porta-potty near the campsite. Great little shop (walking distance) to grab bread, sweets and goodies). Met the owners briefly when we were there. Very nice people.

Site 1 at Jenny’s was a perfect spot for a small trailer and tent. The tent was back in the wooded area which was shaded and cool. The hammocks and picnic table were very appreciated! There are two paths to get to the tent area so if walking across the trees doesn’t suit you there is an alternative path. The only negative is they are close to the road and railroad. Not something Jenny can prevent but definitely bring ear plugs. The train runs all night and the road is utilized much of the early morning/day. Otherwise a great spot to get to lots of activities.

This spot was a good overnight location for us and provided a spectacular Montana sunset. We did have to drive about a mile on a dirt road, which was no problem for me, but a little concerning for my glamper husband:) You can hear trains passing by and the site is near a shooting range-not an issue after dark, but a little noisy during the daylight hours. Host was friendly and helpful.

The camp was great and very clean! Sleeping next to the creek was much needed after a long day of driving. The road is quiet and tucked away. A perfect stayover. 10/10 will come here again in my next fishing trip around Yellowstone.
