We now have a Guest Lounge and Shower House for our Camping guests. The Lounge and Shower house features a full kitchen, living room, 2 restrooms, and a shower. We also encourage our guests to take advantage of the Heated Outdoor Shower.

The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away.
This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.)
We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.
We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).
Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

The pasture is quite visible from Old Route 66, nearly adjoining it. Therefore people traveling “the Mother Road” find it convenient to stay with us. Grass is the best forage for horses, especially older ones, so we take care of our pastures, making for beautiful scenery for campers, too. Plus the entire back mile is bordered by old forest. And there is a swimming hole not a half mile away.
This is a quiet and private site, bordered by a neighbor's old forest on back, other neighbor's cattle pasture on side, and you're in one of the pastures used by the Horse Sanctuary. (You are camping about 1/4 mile, more or less, from our house.)
We regularly see coyote, wild turkeys, deer, fireflies, and the like.
We are just 1/2 mile off Old Route 66, therefore there are quirky little museums and great restaurants (for such a rural area!).
Plus we are only about an hour's drive from Branson. MO. which is a known tourist attraction.

Beautiful little primitive, RV and tent campground on Leatherwood Creek. There are plenty of things to do around here for kids, such as building fires and making s’mores, hiking, climbing trees, catching frogs and crawdads, fishing, and swimming. I’m so upset I found this spot so late in the game. I’ve been driving between Chicago and Austin for years. Out of all the places I’ve stopped to camp along the way this was the most comfortable, convenient and felt safe at. This was my second time camping at the host’s land, and it was another great experience. The campsite has a large open area surrounded by trees, which makes it both spacious and private. The host had firewood ready, which was a thoughtful touch. It’s become one of my favorite campgrounds in Northwest Arkansas, and I’ll definitely be coming back often.

Our two night stay was awesome. Even able to find our spot in the dark after visiting the museum and grabbing dinner in Bentonville. It had been raining several days before but the short section of dirt road was not terrible and the site was in great shape - just wet grass. Biking trailheads are close by and downtown trails (like Coler) a short drive. Showers were nice and hot and welcome after our ride. Late October so only a couple of other campers - very quiet nights! Definitely recommend and will stay again next time in Bentonville!

Jeremy was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel comfortable to make ourselves at home. You might know of Joplin from Nat King Cole’s classic “(Get Your Kicks on) Route 66.” Once a stop on the famed highway, today, Joplin is a small town on the rise, recovering from a devastating tornado. Travelers can check out picturesque Grand Falls, the Wildcat Glades natural area, and sites from the Route 66 heyday. Several private RV parks in Joplin and nearby Carthage provide amenities, but public parks are hard to find without venturing out of town.
Northwest Arkansas
Another hub of activity near Pineville is found in Northwest Arkansas, where the tri-cities of Rogers, Bentonville, and Fayetteville converge. The Ozarks hills are home to a mountain biking scene that’s gaining national attention, as is the renowned Crystal Bridges of American Art.
