Fun Family Farm (FFF) near Robinson, KS is an organic farm where our hobby is creating fun! This entry is to give you an overview of the farm and also in case you want to hold a laid-back, nature-oriented, special event at the FFF, where our mantra is, “nothing will be perfect, but everything will be fine.” So, if you are looking for artificial perfection, look elsewhere. This is camping, not Glamping!
---For any of the guest houses, bring your own linens or sleeping bags, or rent from us.
---The Blue Bedroom has a double bed in it, as does the Hippie Van. Both have either air conditioners or heaters as needed.
---The Big Yellow Bus has a queen bed and two sets of bunk beds in addition to a wood stove, air conditioner, small refrigerator, and a microwave.
---Braden's Brown Bus has a double bed and a futon, air conditioner, sink and a small refrigerator.
---The Hippie Van is a painted VW van with the seats removed and a double bed built in. AC and Heat are available.
Some of the fun we create on the farm includes:
---Super-deluxe horseshoe pit and dart board
---Lots of rural roads, paved and unpaved for bike riding (bring your own bike)
--- Smallish pond with a beach for swimming
---Creek for wading and looking for fossils
---Several fire-pits with seating
---Lots of shaded sitting areas for visiting and flowers for viewing
---Mowed trails through the woods
---Lawn games including lighted bocce ball
---Playground equipment and a large sandbox for the kids
---Cows, pigs, ducks, geese, turkeys, and chickens at various stages of growth depending upon the time of year.
---If the weather is right, an ice skating rink
Amenities Include:
---An Outdoor shower
---Fire-pits with hot dog sticks, grates, and seating
---Gas Grill
---Access to town water for drinking
---Access to well water for sand and water play
---Two NICE outhouses in the barnyard (one is known to the local children as “the magic bathroom” due to its blue lighting)

If you are interested in renting the entire farm for a family reunion or wedding etc., message us at least 6 months in advance and we will be able to block off the dates you are requesting.

I love to camp but, this is our oasis. We also have outdoor dogs that help keep the coyotes and wildlife at bay. The means that they may bark at night.

Everything about this place is awesome. The hosts, the playground, the creek, the tree house, the dogs, the sunsets. Bill and Nancy are amazing people! Jacques and Angie are the sweetest doggies, and Jacques' trail guiding is top notch! Myself and the 4 10/11 year old boys who stayed overnight are all ready to come back again very soon!

2 nights at Fun Family Farm - Overview
It’s just a crazy, fun time when we visit this place. The uniqueness of each structure, the honest, simplicity of it all is so very special.
Our children & grandchildren were thrilled to get out & explore the beautiful, pastoral, Kansas countryside. The yellow school bus & pond are the true highlights for them. But the new treehouse & swing near the sandbox were also a hit.
I enjoyed the expansive sky filled with stars, the outdoor shower & of course the quacking ducks as they slide down into their own personal kiddie pool.
The hosts are generous & extremely accommodating & share wonderful stories…just like family.
I’m sure we will be back a third time!

The Fun Family Farm is absolutely amazing! We’ve been here multiple times and it is always such a blast. There are tons of various activities to do for the kids. Our favorite is to play in the creek! Bill and Nancy are some of the kindest people in the world!!

Super friendly owners and a beautiful farm with plenty of amenities and so many fun things to do! Swimming in the pond was great, the creek had so many cool fossils and we woke up to a ton of cows on the hillside which was so much fun for my son. Jock was such a sweet dog and my dog loved him a lot! Highly recommending staying here.

We (family of 4) were traveling from south LA to Badlands national park and needed a stop over that didn’t require setting up our tent. It was perfect. Wish we could’ve explored more but it lightly rained all night and while we packed back up in the morning. Bill was super sweet and helpful!! Jacques, their lab, is also super sweet! Safe and quiet. The white bus was just a little small however the mattresses were so comfy and so far on our road trip camping and even at an Airbnb they were the most comfortable. We got a great night of sleep!

If you're looking to stay on a farm this is the place! Our children loved all of the activities - multiple swings, trampoline, pond, creek, tree house, and looking at all of the animals. The buses could have been a little cleaner but they have AC so that's nice for the hot days.

My dog and I enjoyed camping in a teardrop at Nicki’s place. There is a nice 360 degree view of rolling hills. Nicki and her partner were extremely helpful when my friend ran into some issues. Everyone we spoke with in town were very nice and offered some recommendations. I highly recommend this spot!
