We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a quiet, natural area to camp in, and destinations to see close by. Private area with sun, and plenty of shade. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Please make a reservation in advance.) Although we cater to adults only we follow TNSF and AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with TNSF or AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. We have a good team in place to help your stay be enjoyable please just understand we don’t operate like some of the clubs you may be used to. Sunset Mountain is a nice quiet place to relax and work on your tan. We have RV sites, tent camping areas a bus, container and camper available as lodging options. Site 1 was beautiful and nicely secluded away from the other campsites. The trails were well-marked and the views were lovely with several vistas and benches to sit on along the trails. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Will definitely come back and book again, hopefully after a rain when the creeks are running!

Such a great spot! We had a group in Site 2 and there was plenty of room for multiple tents. We went in the fall so the creek was dry but I can’t wait to come back and explore more in the Spring Jill was a great host - met us when we got there to make sure we had what we needed! I hope to be back someday ski !

We got there shortly after sunset, but we were able to find the site, no problem! Usually you expect to orangutan hang off a tree and aim for a hole when camping, but they provide a luxury private bucket toilet experience, 10/10. Our only regret was not seeing the note about exploring the old logging trails before we left for a different hike. Check under the water jug! A bunch of cute mushrooms around the site too. Also a great site for bird watching!

10/10 recommend, this was a great camping experience. It was off the beaten path and easy to find. Far enough from the other campsites that you couldn’t even see their lights through the woods. Very clean and thought out, trails around the camp were very well marked and easy to navigate. Will definitely be back!

Would give 10 stars if I could. Not only is the location perfect, scenery beautiful, and very secluded, but the hosts are great. We had a flat tire and didn't realize it until the next morning. Jerry came out, aired up the tire so we could move to flat ground, and helped get the spare on. Will 1000% be coming back (for a third time haha)

Kevin is a gracious host and the upstairs room was a welcome respite on a cold, windy, rainy night. It was clean and warm and roomy. He is new to Hipcamp and is still working on amenities but I had everything I needed because I’m car camping. I will return if in the area. Thanks Kevin!

Kevin is a gracious host. His place was welcomed shelter on a cold, rainy, very windy night. I was comfy cozy in the upstairs room. Kevin is new to Hipcamp and is still working on the amenities, but I had everything I needed with me since I was car camping. I even decided to stay a second night. If I’m back that way, I’ll stay again. Thanks Kevin!

Camping here was amazing! I stayed at site 1 and it was very well maintained. The table, tent platform, and outhouse were all great quality and well kept. Fire wood and the trash were both easily accessible. There were a few a few errant noises, such as some gun shots from a nearby shooting range and a cow mooing, but neither would persuade me away from staying here again! I will be recommending this place to anyone looking to camp near Eureka Springs!
