Edgewater Beach Resort is a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life. There are 2 RV sites at Edgewater that are located just a few feet from the water's edge. Lake Taneycomo is a cold- water lake that is famous for trout fishing. The resort has 3 docks that you can fish off of. You can also fish anywhere along the water's edge. Each RV site has water, sewer, and electric hookups, wifi, a private picnic table, and a private firepit/ grill. The sites are separated by a privacy fence for the utmost privacy. The resort has boat rentals, a fish cleaning station, an outdoor pool that is open from Memorial weekend through Labor Day weekend, a playground, and a laundry room. Great location. We love this place but this is the first time we had any issues. The site next to us was empty and some people decided to use the fire pit and site to park and drink for each evening. It wasn't too much of a problem but we had to run the fan in our bedroom to block out the noise and conversation. Other than that it is still beautiful.

Weekend Trip to Riverdream Camps

This was our second stay at Riverdream, and we love it! Beautiful sky without light pollution, no noise from traffic or what I guess you'd call "city life." My husband & I stayed in a tent both trips, and we were comfortable in each site. Toilet/showers are extremely clean and always stocked. Water flow and temperature is great. Kings River is a short mosey away from camp. Berryville on one side, Eureka Springs on the other. The Hosts have always been kind and quick to assist when we needed it. Weekend Trip to Cold Creek Valley

Site 1 was beautiful and nicely secluded away from the other campsites. The trails were well-marked and the views were lovely with several vistas and benches to sit on along the trails. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Will definitely come back and book again, hopefully after a rain when the creeks are running!

Campsite #2 is has plenty of space for a larger party. Tent and hammocks available to rent.

Such a great spot! We had a group in Site 2 and there was plenty of room for multiple tents. We went in the fall so the creek was dry but I can’t wait to come back and explore more in the Spring Jill was a great host - met us when we got there to make sure we had what we needed! I hope to be back someday ski !

We absolutely loved camping here!! This place is magical! Heidi is amazing, the land is so beautiful and everything was so clean. I absolutely loved the dogs roaming around and how the walkways on the meditation trail were covered with moss!! Definitely will stay here again!

Site #1 complete with bathroom tent, picnic table, and 5 gallon water jug.

Weekend Trip to Happy Hippy Acres Wooded Wonderland

We got there shortly after sunset, but we were able to find the site, no problem! Usually you expect to orangutan hang off a tree and aim for a hole when camping, but they provide a luxury private bucket toilet experience, 10/10. Our only regret was not seeing the note about exploring the old logging trails before we left for a different hike. Check under the water jug! A bunch of cute mushrooms around the site too. Also a great site for bird watching!

Would give 10 stars if I could. Not only is the location perfect, scenery beautiful, and very secluded, but the hosts are great. We had a flat tire and didn't realize it until the next morning. Jerry came out, aired up the tire so we could move to flat ground, and helped get the spare on. Will 1000% be coming back (for a third time haha)

Camping here was amazing! I stayed at site 1 and it was very well maintained. The table, tent platform, and outhouse were all great quality and well kept. Fire wood and the trash were both easily accessible. There were a few a few errant noises, such as some gun shots from a nearby shooting range and a cow mooing, but neither would persuade me away from staying here again! I will be recommending this place to anyone looking to camp near Eureka Springs!

Perfect primitive camping spot. Great views and privacy. We appreciated the firewood that was left for us to.

This site currently has a shade cover and camp chair, generously donated by a previous camper. There's still plenty of room for a large tent.

Weekend Trip to Open-air Meditation Sanctuary

Perfect place to watch the sunset and view a starry sky. Plenty of firewood for the fire pits due to the generous and kind stewards of this amazing space. It's relatively quiet, even with other guests dotted around nearby. The privacy of landscape and bamboo thatch is thoughtfully done and makes you feel safely secluded . They really understand community living and the conscientiousness shows even with their hot tub setup. I would say that it's trauma-conscious because the guest instructions show intention they built in lights and strategic plantings and fencing making sure that privacy was a main feature. A safe container to rest, restore, and commune with nature. Sacred land that's well tended and naturally enhanced with the meditation path.
