5 nights at Life Adventures
Peace, quiet, and simplicity among the black walnut trees. I stayed in the small cabin which had just what I needed. Cleverly designed, this 8 foot by 10 foot space had a mini fridge, microwave, shelf, table, and futon. The front covered porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sun cresting over the trees at dawn or painting last light on field next door.
Rain isn’t an obstacle here, it’s a reason to pull out a board game in the pavilion and share with your neighbors. Life Adventures is all about a good, clean, fun camping experience. In fact, this space is available to rent for events like family reunions and weddings.
Stephen was kind and courteous. He checked in on everyone I saw. The neighbors I talked to said they stayed at the campground many times and they plan to come back. I have to say, I agree.
Camp is close to small towns that are reminiscent of antique stores and ice cream shops next to lazy rivers. If you’re hoping to see more nature, the North Country Trail is very near this campground. The NCT offers some moderate hikes and you may pass through hikers heading up to the Huron-Manistee National Forest. Talk to Stephen, he is a wealth of knowledge about the area.

Weekend Trip to Life Adventures
It was a super affordable place to get away for a night, so we didn't expect anything fancy. Staying here is basically staying at a small campground. The cabin is a small shed made up as a little cabin. The large awnings were useful, the whole thing sits on a concrete slab. Looked like a tree fell through one of the awnings and there were materials there, probably to fix it. A large fire pit was full of ash, a broken rock climbing wall was nearby. There's a large bathroom facility with a shower, and a few camping sites nearby. The cabin is not out by itself, but amongst all this. Neighbors were nice. Luke, the camp dog, was a sweetheart. Inside the cabin, there's a tiny refrigerator and a little microwave and a couple outlets. The queen bed was on the stiffer side but very comfortable. There is no AC or heat. Once we aired the heat out of the room, it was pleasant inside.
Overall, we had a good time. It's close to town, you can see the stars at night, it's quiet, and it wasn't crowded. It's quite a bargain. Met the owner briefly as he was doing some work around the camp. Pleasant and polite. We walked some of the trails, which were nice.
I recommend a stay.

Weekend Trip to Tucked - Away Cabin
A great place to relax and get away from the city. The cabin had everything there for cooking and extra blankets and pillows if needed. The woods were perfect for just sitting back by the fire and listening to the sounds of nature.

Stephens little cabin set up was just what my husband n I were looking for a spare of the moment night out. Bathroom and showers were definitely a plus! We look forward to staying here again in our future travels. :)

Weekend Trip to Life Adventures
Very nice place to get away. I rented the 8 x 10 for myself for the weekend. Just the right size with microwave and small fridge. Wonderful woods with trails to walk. Nice covered porch and fire. There is one other cabin and several tent, trailer sites. But everything is spread out enough so you can enjoy some quiet time to yourself. Definitely recommend this place. Wonderful host.

Beautiful area! Our dogs loved it :) we played a lot of fetch and got to walk some of the trails. The owner takes really good care of the lawn areas and trails! The lab came by to say hi and was super sweet. The bed isn’t super comfortable, but, hey, it’s camping! Great price for what you get! Don’t forget to bring your own sleeping bags and pillows! We were in the car about to leave when I remembered, lol. Would definitely stay again!

2 nights at Tucked - Away Cabin
This a great place! It is obvious that great skill and care went into building the cabin itself and what an excellent site it is on! If you have been looking for a cabin that is not right next to the owner's house or right on a blacktop road, this is the place for you!
The tucked away cabin is back down a windy little dirt road through the woods and is truly surrounded by nature. A great bike trail along the Grand River is literally 5 minutes away. Perfect secluded glamping experience with everything you need including a Solo Stove fire pit that is the most efficient way to burn wood I have ever seen. I will definitely be back to this special place.

I stayed in S cabin (8x10). Very basic with futon, microwave, small fridge, electricity. Great covered porch. Make sure to bring a fitted sheet and bedding.
Facilities are about 100 meters away. They could use a nice cleaning, but does the job.
Beautiful trails and plenty of wood.

Weekend Trip to Tucked - Away Cabin
Tucked Away Cabin is my favorite hipcamp spot so far! I’ve been to quite a few sites in the Midwest and this one stood out from the rest! The cabin is truly a gem, hand built by the family, and tucked way back on their property. You can feel the love there! The host family has over 40 acres, if I remember correctly, and there are walking trails all throughout the property. Cathy and her husband are very welcoming and kind and are there if you need anything at all, but you’re so tucked back in the woods that you feel totally secluded and at peace. We felt so relaxed here hearing the sounds of nature, seeing deer, butterflies, cardinals, a blue jay, dragonflys, and even a blue herring overhead and I really enjoyed exploring the property! Cathy is the sweetest and was very accommodating to us and she stocks the cabin very well! Thankfully, I was over prepared but if you are not very experienced in camping or are looking for a private weekend away this is the perfect spot to go! Everything you need is provided from plates to fire starters to Tonka irons! 15/10 I absolutely love this spot and highly recommend it! Stop reading and book!!! You’ll have the best time and go home feeling so grounded and at peace!

Was the perfect place to relax and unwind! If you love nature in it's truest form this is the place had Luke as a companion for a couple nights great guest dog ....even waited for my wife outside of the restroom and walked her back to camp. Cabin was clean and cozy just used it for sleeping which was great not having to put up a tent and deal with the rainy nights. Stephen was a great host came by by respectfully to see if we needed anything and ask how our stay was going.

Weekend Trip to Tucked - Away Cabin
The cabin is located at the deeper parts of Cathy's property in the woods and it provides a very isolated feeling from everything else.
It is very clean and everything is very nicely considered to provide comfort (fire pit filled with wood, kitchen with necessary accessories, etc) , so that all that is left for you is to enjoy the experience.
Cathy is very communicative and flexible for the check in experience.
We would love to go back in the future.
