Amazing! Checked all our boxes and more. Can't wait to go back again! Amber and her husband were wonderful hosts along with the 4 dogs and 3 cats. Best fishing spots too!

5 nights at The Hickory Chicken

We absolutely fell in love the moment we pulled in. Can we just live here too?!? So peaceful, quiet, and serene. The 2 ponds were well stocked with bass, crappie, brim, & catfish. Very stunning sunsets too. We were greeted by 4 of the sweetest & friendliest dogs and 3 cats. Our dogs felt right at home. Amber and her husband were so sweet and made us feel very comfy ... kinda like long lost friends. Now we've made new life long friends. Will we go back... 1000% yes. This hidden gem checked all of our boxes. Wonderful for those who just want to get away. Thank you for allowing us to stay... 4 nights just isn't enough.

Weekend Trip to Stoneybrooke

Julia and John's place is a neat find. The creek and the pond were nice to spend time beside. If you're boondocking the space is perfect. If you're wanting to use the electrical be sure to have a very long cord , at least 50 feet. We couldn't enjoy the space totally because we had to park up near the electric hook up because our cord was only 25 feet. We have already discussed coming back to this location again because of the tranquillity. We will just need to get a longer cord for instances such as this.

Its a very sandy area so it was nice to see rubber mats at each site. I had a question before we were to arrive and sent a message and Tessa responded quickly. It was very quiet in the evenings and we loved that its a dog friendly campground.

Lane and Dan's Hip Camp is in a lovely location. Very quiet and picturesque. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Jennys land. Hooking up the camper was easy and there was an extra water hose just in case yours isnt long enough. It was quiet and peaceful with lots of things to explore in the area Tick season is in full swing so dont forget your repellent.

7 nights at Covered Bridge Pavilion

I had an amazing stay at this Hipcamp! It’s a peaceful and quiet spot, perfect for relaxing and close to stores etc. The pavilion is a lovely feature, providing a great space to unwind. Brian and Cassie are truly exceptional hosts—they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even surprising us with thoughtful Christmas gifts! I highly recommend this place and would love to return in the future.

2 nights at Getaway Camp & Retreat

I did not get to stay here due to being sick, but the hosts were very responsive and accommodating to my flex in plans. I wish I could’ve stayed to meet them. I will definitely keep them in mind next time I’m in town.

We have a 30’ cord available. Water is available. This is a single private site. No other campers at this location. We have an antique store 125’ away that is open to the public once per month and hosts occasional creative classes. The store cannot be seen from the camp site so you will enjoy complete privacy. Also note there is a paved bike trail across the highway so easy access for bicyclists. The pond is stocked with bass and blue gill for a photo op and release. If you would like a private shopping experience at Stoneybrooke, it can be arranged!
