Several options for basic (unimproved) camp-sites are available in open and wooded areas, according to camper's equipment and preference. There are tents available to rent as well. Large concrete block fire pit,  charcoal grill, camp stove, portable tent potty.  Water spigot and hose at barn. Please check the "more details" links or contact me with any questions. Scenic country roads to explore.  Property has 1/4 mile on lovely shaded creek that runs right into the South Fork Little Barren River, a favorite of local folks to take a kayak or canoe on. Also, just a few miles away is the County Lake for fishing and/or to bring a canoe, kayak, small boat (electric motor ok, no gas). A few miles to  country style restaurants, Sulphur Well historic park, 6 miles to small town, aprox 20 miles to closest cities. We plan to be officially open for campers April 1 , but if the weather is nice and you want to come out we would do our best to accommodate you. (please note: due to the unpredictable nature of farm animals , we must ask that visitors do not go into fenced or unfenced areas containing animals without permission, especially with young children or dogs. )

The space Creekdance is located on 20 acres of prime Kentucky vegetation in the hills of Kentucky. Dry Fork Creek runs adjacent to the entire property. While it is not deep enough to kayak, it is certainly fun to dip your toes in and walk through the ever-flowing water. Several walking paths and bird boxes can be found throughout the property. It is a great place to write, paint, read, do yoga or just rejuvenate and "get right" with nature. Get the best sleep of your life on a Nectar mattress with the sounds of the creek drifting through the window. NEW this year - 125-yard golf driving range available. Golf balls provided. Bring your clubs! Guest access Guests have a private cabin all to themselves. They may feel free to wander around the property, venture onto the walking paths, walk in the creek, etc. The only space that is off limits is my cabin down the creek. Of course, if there is some kind of emergency, feel free to come find me. Other things to note While pets are allowed, there will be a $25 charge per day/per pet, paid to hosts upon arrival. I have a very friendly dog of my own on the property who free-roams. Also, if guests leave their pets in the cabin while they are gone, the pets must be crated. Inside the cabin, the bathroom is equipped with an Incinolet toilet. I find that it is quite efficient if used properly. Instructions will be given upon arrival and are included on the wall in the bathroom. We can only accommodate TWO guests at a time in the cabin due to the Incinolet's capability.

We felt very welcomed, it's a beautiful and secluded property with a beautiful creek for canoeing or kayaking. We had clouds but i expect the stargazing would be spectacular. Lots of songbirds and deer, beautiful fall color. Perfect temporary home for hunters, we met a few, fascinating for us city people. Bathroom and shower clean and warm. There is a large sheltered area with chairs and grills in case of inclement weather. We didn't meet the donkeys but could see them across the field. Recommended!

Weekend Trip to Misty Bottoms
Misty Bottoms is hands down one of the best campsites where we’ve ever stayed The site is incredibly well-maintained and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The grassy area was perfect for our tent (and great for RVs too), and we really appreciated the electric hookup and potable water access. The bathroom was impressively clean, with a hot shower and even toiletries provided — a rare find at most campsites! We loved gathering around the fire pit in the evenings (firewood included!) and spending time in the shelter, which had everything from hammocks, tables, and even a refrigerator. It was a great spot to hang out, rain or shine. The views of the sky were stunning — clear and wide open, perfect for stargazing, and the sunrise and sunset over the Green River were absolutely magical. The whole environment was peaceful and quiet — ideal for a relaxing getaway. Hosts Travis and Tena were incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They clearly care about making this a special place for visitors, and it shows. We will definitely be returning. We highly recommend Misty Bottoms to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped nature retreat!
