You won't believe you are still in Kansas! C2T Ranch is a working regenerative cattle ranch, with over 4 miles of Saline River running through it. Amazing 150' tall limestone cliffs rise above river and several spring fed creeks feed into the river. There is hiking galore in the canyons or on the cliffs, fishing in the rivers, or bird watching on the native prairie above the cliffs. Fossil hunters can find a variety of fossilized shells, as well as native septarian and calcite for the rockhounds.
Our picturesque, secluded campground has primitive and powered campsites, plus several glamping tent, all dispersed along an amazing horseshoe bend of the Saline River, each with direct river access. We're only a 20 minute drive north of Hays, Kansas and I-70, come visit us today!

This is my favorite place to stay when driving across Kansas. Fifteen minutes off I70 to a peaceful campground with widely spaced sites. My favorite sites are the ones that are along the Salida River with an awesome sight of a towering limestone wall rising out of the ground several hundred feet high. Get there to see a sunset when the light turns the limestone wall golden in color. The host, Chad, is a wonderful host who will take excellent care of you. Best fire rings in the Hipcamp catalogue. ❤️

We loved staying here! Chad and Cynthia were very welcoming and explained everything well. The land is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed hiking with our dog and playing in the river.
Great place to watch the stars and some cute raccoons.

My husband and I spent an extended weekend at the county romance tent and had a wonderful time. The host Chad and Cynthia were kind and very accommodating. If you love to hike and explore on your own this is a wonderful place to do so! Also their dog Abigail was wonderful tour guide.

The campsite was absolutely beautiful by the water with trees for shade and beautiful rock formations. Felt like you were out west. Very quiet at night. Gorgeous sunset. The site is fantastic, really like the pictures. Secluded but not too far from a city. The property is huge. We were greeted by the owner, very nice and friendly. We had a great visit at Chad and Cynthia’s! It was our first time with our new teardrop camper - what a great way to break it in! Chad brought us our dinner fresh from the ranch - burgers with all the trimming and roasted potatoes. All we had to do was cook the burgers - delicious and so easy! They were great at communicating, directions were clear, and the campsite was perfect and exactly as described. We look forward to another stay in the future!

This was our first Hipcamp experience and it exceeded our expectations. We loved the site as it was on the end near a platform that overlooks the river and the stunning limestone cliffs. We appreciated the sense of privacy it afforded us. The setting is spectacular and we loved exploring and enjoying our many wildlife encounters…birds aplenty, including a flock of wild turkeys and white tailed deer.
Chad & Cynthia are exceptional hosts and we are so grateful that they share their little piece of paradise with the world.
