The Farm at Yoder

My husband and I have lived on this farm most of our married life. We have an old McDonald type of farm. The Campground is located close to the barn where you will be able to see and pet the animals. You’ll be surrounded by fields of hay and grass.

After coming in our drive, you will turn to your left past the shop.

Electricity, water and sewage hook ups are available.

Borntrager Dairy

Come and spend some time at a direct-to-consumer dairy farm. Our cows are called Dutch Belted. They are often referred to as Oreo cows.  Stay on the farm where the milk is produced, processed, and sold. The farm store is a short distance away and sells a large variety of farm foods.

The farm consists of about 200 acres of pasture and creek bottom. The owner, Loyd, has lived on the farm all his life. 

We are right beside what used to be a Navy base... yeah in Kansas.:) The runway still gets used for gliders. So you might see a glider being pulled up while you are here.

Turner's Quarter

Learn more about this land:Come stay for a night at Turner's Quarter in our quiet country neighborhood. Enjoy access to a large fire pit, free firewood, and a large area for your camping activities. Take in a view of the bright night sky you just cant get in the city. Only 1 minute off the highway and only a quick walk to the main house in case of an urgent need. Perfect spot to stay a night if you're traveling across the state and don't want to stay at a busy campground. There are other houses nearby, but only home you can really see is ours from the site. We are careful to ensure our camper's privacy during their stay!

***We are not allowed to offer tent camping at this time due to Hip Camp's requirement of a toilet. We are working to find a solution that meets Hip Camp's policies.***

Beaumont Hotel & RV Park

The Beaumont Hotel RV Park sits in the historic town of Beaumont Kansas surrounded by rich history. Cowboys, railroads, and aviation offer our guests just a few of the many historic attractions for their enjoyment and exploration.

The Beaumont Hotel is a homing beacon to all pilots and travelers who want to touch down for a cold drink, a hot bath, a great meal, and restful sleep. The Beaumont Hotel’s renovation includes the addition of private baths in the four suites and six deluxe rooms and a remodeled dining room accented with period log furniture in the lobby. The hotel and RV Park are open daily. 

The Beaumont Hotel Cafe and Restaurant adjacent to the RV Park are closed for the winter season and will reopen in the Spring of 2026. The Hotel and RV Park are available for reservations year-round.

The Beaumont Hotel adjoins a 10,000-acre working cattle ranch and is near the Tall Grass Prairie National Park, guests may also see the oldest wooden water tower in America, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as the Beaumont Hotel!

The Beaumont Hotel is a perfect weekend getaway or a strategic stopover on a cross-country hop. Stay a night, stay a week – your welcome is guaranteed to be warm and friendly as you and your fellow travelers swap stories and savor the beauty, peace, and quiet of this very special piece of Americana.

Our RV park has 10 gravel pads (5 of which are pull-through), a tiny house, a covered wagon as well as tent camping. RV sites include full hookups with 30/50 amp electricity, water, and sewer.

After living in the country, I know how peaceful it can be.
 So, being so close to the city and having this space that is secluded and peaceful, it seemed only fair to share it with someone who is interested in the same thing.  
You are welcome to walk the farm and see the animals, please do not feed the animals or enter their stalls or pens without permission and the presence of our staff.

Staff does live on the farm, we do lock gates at night, you can have access to come and go at any time.  If you need gates unlocked, we are just a phone call away.

All Seasons RV Park is a quiet campground, located one mile off the highway in a prosperous and safe part of West Wichita. We are right at the edge of Goddard, where you will find an abundance of family-friendly activities. 

When you stay at All Seasons, you get the best of both worlds — you’re close enough to explore all that Wichita has to offer, but far enough to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. 

Whether you’re staying for a night, a couple nights, or an extended-stay period, you’ll find our amenities provide a comfortable stay. 

Our park has 53 shaded sites with level pull-through hook-ups, outdoor amenities and activities, and free Wi-Fi.

(There’s a storm shelter for the odd exception.) And you’re in the best spot to get to the best spots in Wichita. Lots of recreation, relaxation and plenty of the good kind of shade. 

Camp the Range is designed to accommodate large rigs with many long pull-through pads, all with full hookups and 30/50 amp service. Most are shaded with natural mature trees, and all of the necessary facilities and camp store are just steps away.

It’s CWB. Camping with benefits. In your cozy Camp the Range spot, you’re never more than a minute’s walk from a fully stocked convenience store, clean, air conditioned showers, restroom and 24/7 laundry. Fast Wi-Fi is on the house. Our Coyote Clubhouse recreation room is open to guests during normal business hours and rentable for exclusive gatherings.

Bearded Gander Farm

Bearded Gander Farm is our home and a working market farm situated on a total of 80 acres. The property features more than 50 acres of beautiful pasture and meadows, along with tree lines, 2 ponds, and orchard in the making. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Tons of birds, butterflies, and other wildlife. 

Our market farm produces a range of organically grown fruits and vegetables and will be adding pasture raised chickens and eggs soon.

Walk through the property and see our many pollinator habitats and permanent plantings - see zebra, tiger, and eastern swallowtail butterflies, many types of bees, and more. 

We live and work with intention to create sustainable habitats for all wildlife and see an abundance of hawks and owls, swallows and kites, lizards, toads, frogs, spiders, and everything you would imagine seeing in nature. It's our goal to have a full and balanced ecosystem.

Welcome to K&R RV Park, a unique and inviting privately owned RV park that offers a perfect blend of comfort and community for both long-term residents and vacationers. Nestled in Southeast Wichita, our park is conveniently located near major employers such as Spirit, Cessna, and McConnell, making it an ideal choice for traveling nurses, construction workers, active military personnel, and those exploring the beauty of the United States.
Our prime location provides easy access to I-135 and the turnpike, ensuring that downtown Wichita and its surrounding attractions are just a short drive away. Guests can enjoy a variety of nearby outdoor activities, including parks, swimming holes, and local dining options, enhancing your stay with us.
At K&R RV Park, we pride ourselves on being pet-friendly, understanding that pets are cherished travel companions. To ensure a safe environment for all guests, we have a few guidelines: pets must be on a lead no longer than six feet when outside and must always be accompanied by an adult. We allow a maximum of two dogs per site, but we do not permit aggressive or territorial breeds, including Pitbulls, Rottweilers, and Akitas. Additionally, cats must remain indoors or on a lead, as they are not allowed to roam freely.

Daniel's 100-yr-old farm

I am proud to be a fourth-generation caretaker of this farm and surrounding acreage.&nbsp; My great-grandfather purchased this land in 1921 and since then, my family has been farming the best way that we knew how.&nbsp; For the last 30 years, that has meant a divergence from traditional farming practices to focus on regenerative farming-- farming that focuses on enriching the health of the soil and&nbsp;the animals instead of depleting it.On our farm, we raise beef, lamb, pigs and chickens&nbsp;and they all live out on pasture.&nbsp; In our farm store we sell meat, eggs, and raw, all-grass dairy products like milk, butter, cheese, kefir, and yogurt.&nbsp; Our customers drive from all parts of central Kansas to shop at Jako Farm because our food is different than food in the grocery store.&nbsp; We call it JakoPure food.Not only do we share our life-giving, gut-restoring food with others, but we want to share the experience of our farm, too.&nbsp; That's why we've started hosting guests on hipcamp so that you can truly experience what's special about our farm.&nbsp; Each location provides a unique perspective on our farm, and you'll engage a different part of our story at each place.&nbsp; But wherever you stake your temporary claim at Jako Farm, we hope you experience the peace and rest that we know and love.Learn more about this land:Jako Farm is&nbsp;a working regenerative farm, and this campsite provides an easy view of all that goes on here.&nbsp;The cows and sheep will graze near by while the chickens scratch in the distance.&nbsp; You'll see the farmers moving the animals to new pasture and the llama playing games with the sheep.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you're up at sunrise, you'll see Ken bringing the cows up to the barn for milking (April through November).&nbsp;&nbsp;Its pretty quiet here, except for the subtle noises of wildlife.&nbsp; (Fair warning:&nbsp;&nbsp;if you're in a tent, you will probably hear the milking machine kick on at 6:30am.)&nbsp; We're also proud to be a smell-free farm&nbsp;because all animals live out on pasture.&nbsp;&nbsp;There are killer sunrises and sunsets here.&nbsp; If you're lucky, you'll also see our&nbsp;resident bald eagle pair soaring through the sky.A bathroom with shower is available for your use in the barn nearby.Please be respectful of farm operations, although we're always open to answering questions if you see us around. Farm Tours are not included with a booking. 

Boxcar Family Escape

Climb to the top of a rustic train boxcar and take in the beautiful Kansas country sky. Our peaceful property is a perfect escape while still being only 10 minutes from gas, grocery, and restaurants in Rose Hill. Derby Walmart Supercenter is 20 minutes away, and Wichita proper is just a 25-30 minute drive.29 Mile away you have&nbsp;El Dorado State Park which&nbsp;is a showstopper of family fun! Located in the Flint Hills, this park has an immense wildlife area, over 8,000 acres of water, and 98 miles of shoreline (think beaches and coolers filled with cold beer). While you are here, you can take your boat on this expansive lake to explore it all while you fish for your dinner. Back on the land you’ll be beckoned by picturesque hiking trails, biking trails, and horse trails. There is a wide variety of campsites on the shoreline, offering the perfect vista to see the moon and stars reflected back into the lake. Kansas magic at its best!Meet our friendly indoor/outdoor cats, and maybe even spot a deer in the surrounding fields as you relax around the fire pit. Visitors in June can even harvest fresh mulberries from several trees surrounding the camping area. We commonly see deer, squirrels, rabbits, and a large variety of birds. We've occasionally spotted bald eagles in our surrounding trees.No pets allowed.&nbsp;
