45 ft travel trailer
Pros: RV electric hookups. Clean onsite bathroom with running water, sink, flushing toilet and shower. Nice well maintained camping sites (tent and RV). Plenty of land to roam and enjoy nature. Beautiful views of the lakes, nature and wildlife.
Cons: Limited number of firepits. All 5 RV sites share one firepit. Not a real issue if you're the only one there but not great if there are other groups booked on site. Some of the camping sites have firepits but not all of them. Lakes have some junk in them, tires, etc. There is overflow from the river so when it floods the river flows into the lakes and it brings along the trash with it. It wasn't too bad but does give you pause when considering swimming or fishing.
Overall: We had a great trip and will book here again. The pro's outweigh the cons and it was a lot of fun getting away for a weekend with friends.

This was a lovely camping spot! The views are gorgeous. The signage and directions to the site are easy to follow. Hosts were communicative and friendly. We love a secluded campsite and this felt like we were surrounded by nothing but trees and rolling farmland. The site was large with plenty of room for our tent and vehicles. We loved watching the sunset here! 10/10 recommend and would love to visit again!

My family and I enjoyed staying on Susan and Larry’s land. The views were beautiful and my son absolutely loved going to see the animals. The campsite was nice and clean. The out house and outside shower were a nice luxury to have available to us. I made the mistake of letting my car battery die while charging my phone and Larry kindly jumped my car off for me. It felt very secluded and was exactly the trip we were hoping for. Overall our family camp trip was very enjoyable and Susan and Larry were very nice and helpful.

Susan's property is a little oasis with prime views of the Ohio River. Biggest highlight are her farm animals and the clean outhouse. Highly recommend!

The site was beautiful. Every direction was picturesque. We just so happened to go camping here on a weekend with a heat advisory and the pavilion was a nice source of shade. There were a lot more houseflies than I thought there would be; especially around the pavilion, but the site is in the middle of a farm so it’s not entirely unexpected. I’d definitely come back to camp here in the fall/winter.

This place is just fantastic! Excellent sites and amenities, the property was beautiful and well-maintained, and it was very peaceful. The pictures really don't do justice to how beautiful it is. The owners were very helpful and welcoming, but give you your space as well which is always appreciated. I'll be back with my kids soon!

I got a chance to camp on Susan and Larry's land May 11~16 and can't wait to go back. You truly get to camp right next to the river (as you can see in the attached video), with great views of the water, birds that fish it, and barges that travel it. The land is peaceful, and beautiful ...you can see in another video I uploaded how beautifully misty it gets the morning after a good rain.
The farm is home to many wonderful animals, and it was heartwarming to see how much the hosts care for them. I got to spend most of my time sitting quietly at camp, but every day I also took the time to visit the animals. Susan and Larry were gracious, down to earth, and helpful in every way. They have three farm dogs and took the time to formally introduce us. I've been at a Hipcamp before where I didn't get this kind of warm introduction and had to set up camp nervously while a strange dog barked and growled a little too close to me. I got to know and grow used to these dogs very quickly, including a very sweet old soul who spent a lot of time next to me whenever I went up to sit and watch the animals.
Things to know before you go: I have T-Mobile and didn't get much coverage in the area. It's quite spotty until about half an hour towards Brandenburg, best stop for gas and ice. Did not go out much except one trip to Forest Edge Winery (recommended). Wish I'd visited the Bernheim trails, forest giants, and the forest/arboretum. Next visit!
Reserve a spot at Moonlight Grove ...you won't regret it!

It’s big farm than I expected. There are goats, pigs, chickens also cute cat. Shower is available and they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash. It was very safe and hosts are very kind. Cell is not working that well but wifi is available near there house. Highly recommended!!
