Bring your own tent (This is a tent only campground and Primitive)  and enjoy the 5 acres of land that is Certified by the National Wildlife Federation. There are two Nearby  Lakes, there is the Mississinewa Reservoir and the Salamone Reservoir, there are beaches to lay at and swimming allowed, both of these places are not far from StarCountryAcres Wildlife Habitat. Less than 25 miles.

Bring a GPS to find these two lakes. 

If you love watching birds then this is the place to see them, bring your binoculars,scopes and camera's.

In the summer you can enjoy the two big Montmorency Cherry Trees, pick and eat all you want.The cherries are all gone but its Blackberry time pick all you want Free..

There&nbsp;are&nbsp;also&nbsp;Raspberry Blackberry&nbsp;Bushes&nbsp;you&nbsp;can&nbsp;pick in&nbsp;mid&nbsp;July.

There is now a 24x8 Screen house, it has a table and chairs and also a bench, on the other end of the screenhouse there is a POTTY. The screen house is for campers who want to eat and not have to worry about bugs buzzing around their food. We have tables and chairs in the screen house.

WE ARE OPEN FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND.

Literally the perfect place to pitch a tent! I chose the most secluded area!

I am so in love with the amount of colors in the brush, its such a beautiful wildlife refuge!

The owner came out to take some images also, really a great creative person.

Just some of the beautiful plants in this refuge, a lot of birds in here but they are all camouflaged! 

When I showed up to my campsite, literally a perfect place to pitch a tent. open for a large tent.

I just couldn't help but notice the leaves falling.

The Mowed paths, theres a decent amount of walking you can do on this property.

The Love Shack Cabin Getaway

Cabin - sleeps 4 - with AC/Heat & Mini Fridge and hydrant water outside. No pets inside cabin. OR camp spot with 30 amp electric/hydrant water. If you're interested in using cabin & 30 amp service for camper, contact us before booking. Additional fee applies.

There are covered areas you can take shelter under in case of poor weather.
Bathroom consists of "outhouse." TP provided.

No WiFi. Fish CATCH & RELEASE only!!!!

Surveillance is now in place to aid in the prosecution situations.

Two picnic tables are included, 1 plastic serving table and 6 chairs to sit in.
One campfire ring (please do not burn trash/cig butts in rings) with grate to cook on.

Firewood $6 per bundle paypable on Ven mo. Do not cut any of my trees down or go foraging - backside of pond is a wetland and private & protected property.

Several docks around the pond to fish from - use at your own risk.
There are no dedicated "walking trails," but you can walk around the backside of the one pond (we keep it mowed) and wander down the long lane.

No official "cooking area" - bring a grill, cooking stove or cook over the fire. Please do not cook under any roof, near cabin or on plastic table.
Please pack all your trash out. We don't have trash pick up here. All dog/animals feces can be flung in the field/tall grass!
Lots of big catfish, bass & bluegill - see our F B page for videos of the fish being fed! If you're done fishing for the night or don't fish, bags of fish food are available for $1! It's fun to watch them! All food is stored in containers in shack. They like to eat in the morning or early evening. Also like hot dogs.

You understand that swimming, camping, hiking and fishing is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming, camping, hiking and fishing. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming, camping, hiking and fishing and hold owner harmless. You understand there are potential dangers that from swimming, camping, hiking and fishing may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person swimming, camping, hiking or fishing if a person has health risks, or if a person swims, camps, hikes or fishes while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming, camping, hiking or fishing. All Hipcamp Guests in my party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that confirming below constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between Hipcamp Guests and Hipcamp Host.

Marick Acres

     What once started in the mid 1800's as a 240 acre sugar maple tree farm is now our little 18 acres of heaven on earth. Our house was built on the property in 1875.
     The land is rolling and dotted with flower beds, animals, and beautiful green grass that is mowed weekly. We are bordered by fields and a cemetery that dates back to the 1800's.We are neighbors with those who grow crops, raise beef cows, bison, and alpacas.2 blocks from our driveway is Blue River which offers fishing, kayaking, tubing, and canoeing (if you have your own equipment). Town is 2 minutes away, but there is not much there other than a convenience gas station, aTodd's Great Outdoor Bait Shop,  and an engine repair shop. There are often festivals, open Music Jams and community events. "Civilization" is a 30 minute drive to find movies, grocery, shopping, and a public pool. The sky appears to be scattered with diamonds on a clear night and during season the fireflies light the trees up like twinkling lights at Christmas!

We have an 18&nbsp;acre mini farm, close to a small town and near a river. We&nbsp;have two small ponds that can be fished in during the early spring, wildlife, and birds to watch.&nbsp; There are 6 very nice areas for camp sites that allow for privacy and relaxation. Each site has a&nbsp;fire pit and&nbsp;table. We also have just put in a new out house and have a&nbsp;port-a-potty for our campers to use.&nbsp;We are 10 minutes from Interstate 70 and&nbsp;only 30 minutes from Indianapolis. If you are just passing through or arriving late, &nbsp;let us know and we will be happy to have a campfire started for you.

Accommodations can be made for group camping!&nbsp;

We also have a gazebo that can be used for weddings and vow renewals. Officiant on site.

Our campground is a primitive&nbsp;wooded spot 1.8 miles east of&nbsp;Ruoff (Deer Creek) Music Center&nbsp;amphitheater. Limited camp sites&nbsp;for select concert dates will be available; campers must be over 18, have picture identification (driver's license or passport),&nbsp;and sign a waiver. Other nearby activities&nbsp;include Top Golf, outdoor shopping mall, Connor Prairie historical museum, and canoeing the White River. We are less than five&nbsp;minutes from I-69.

Enter through the gravel drive off the road near the bridge.

We have open sunny areas to set up camp.
