You will enjoy a relaxing stay at this beautiful Funny Farm Homestead. Escape the fast pace of city life and soak up some peace and quiet. Experience farm life and share your scraps with the chickens and pigs, Stella and Sport. There are many friendly and entertaining animals to meet. Six spaces available for RV parking or put up a tent. Fresh water available for everyone from the hose, no hookups or electricity. Only 3 miles off I90 and eight minutes from Spokane Airport. Campfires… If you want to have a small campfire, you need to bring your own fire pit and wood. There can be no campfires directly on the ground and no fire pits provided here. If there is a burn ban in place you can still enjoy your small propane fire pits. You need to reserve a spot for every sleeping unit, for example, if you are bringing a camper and setting up a tent you need to pay for two spots. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

We will greet you when we are able do so. We purchased this wonderful 40 acre ranch in our retirement years. We had never done ranching or farming before and wanted a new experience with this gift called life. Our many different animals provide us with entertainment and a purpose. Mini Donkeys asking for a bum rub and braying for breakfast always brings a smile. Alpacas, Llamas and Valais Black Nose Sheep, provides us with beautiful rugs from their own fiber that we sell in the Seven Stars Store. The rest of the hats, gloves, blankets and wonderful socks come from Peru. Mini horses that love to be brushed and even have their hair braided all make for an unusual experience. Lost Moose Campground, Your Basecamp for Adventure! Whether you are looking to hoof it, foot it, motor it, peddle it, or paddle it - we can serve as your basecamp to do it all! Lost Moose is a remote campground nestled in the mountains of beautiful North Idaho where outdoor recreation opportunities abound! Before you book a reservation at the Moose, there are a few things you should know. Our hope, and the reason we opened Lost Moose Campground, is that our guests would have a friendly and fun atmosphere away from life's hustle and bustle where everyone has the opportunity to relax, enjoy nature, and explore north Idaho with their family and friends. Our campground is remote and it does take a little more time and effort to get here. While most of our guests repeatedly tell us it's totally worth it and it's just what they were looking for, others have let us know that they would prefer to be closer to the Interstate and the amenities of "civilization." We just want everyone to be happy! So, before you book a reservation, we want you to know a few things about our campground that way you'll know just what to expect when you stay at the Moose! • Lost Moose Campground is located 8 miles south of Interstate 90. Getting here includes 6 miles of gravel road that can be a little bumpy at times throughout the year. • There's no cell service or wifi at the campground. A landline is available for emergencies and cell service can be found often when traveling nearby roads and trails. • Due to our proximity to Latour Creek we do not have sewer hookups or a dump station. All RV Sites are equipped with power and water hookups and toilets and hot showers are available. • The nearest grocery store is approximately 12 miles away, the nearest gas station 11 miles, nearest dump station 11 miles, and the nearest restaurant is about 12 miles away. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Coeur d'Alene or Wallace. • Latour Creek provides a great place for kids and adults alike to cool off in the summer, but it is not suitable for kayaking or floating. The Coeur d'Alene River is only 8 miles away and is well suited for those activities. • Crystal Lake trailhead is approximately 12 miles above the campground and is accessible by car. The Mirror Lake trailhead is also accessed about 12 miles above the campground, but includes a narrow jeep road that isn't suitable for vehicles not designed for off-roading. • The Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's bike trail parking area is 8 miles from the campground at the junction of Latour Creek and I-90. • ATV's can be ridden from the campground. There are no formal maps of our area, but we are happy to help give directions and suggestions for great places to ride. SO MANY THINGS TO DO Most of our guests come stay with us to get away in the wild. When you are out and about on the trails, chances are you'll see moose, elk and deer - if you're lucky you may even see a bear! It's a real rarity when we hit the trails and don't see at least one of the above! • IN CAMP Play in the river, do some fishing in the creek, play horseshoes and corn hole, eat ice cream, explore the surrounding area, relax, build a campfire, etc. • FROM CAMP Enjoy access to hundreds of miles of ATV/UTV trails directly from camp. Take off upstream or downstream and fish all day. Huckleberry picking in season only a few miles away! • OUTSIDE CAMP Bike trails, kayaking or floating the river, fishing, water parks, theme parks and area attractions. Fun urban adventures are within an hour of the campground! • SILVER MOUNTAIN Try mountain biking in the region's best lift served bike park, go for a scenic gondola ride, hike to the fire lookout on Kellogg Peak or just settle in for some huckleberry ribs and listen to live music at the mountain house grill. How about a round of mountain golf at Galena Ridge, or grab some pavement bikes from Silver Mountain Sports and hit the 72 mile bike path that runs right by our parking lot. Silver Rapids, Idaho's largest indoor waterpark, takes weather out of the equation by creating a perfect 84 degree, football field-sized location to splash, swim and surf on the perfect wave! The sky is the limit at Silver Mountain! • THINGS TO DO IN COEUR D'ALENE There’s something for everyone in Coeur d’Alene. Area activities and attractions range from the free and family-friendly to thrilling outdoor adventures—and just about everything in-between. Summer in Coeur d’Alene is filled with epic attractions! Parasail rides, zip-lining, boating, float planes and of course the northwest’s largest theme park! 1 night at Funny Farm Homestead

Diana had a great little farm and was very nice and helpful with making sure we were set up. We had a nice visit when we arrived and before leaving in the morning. It was very quiet and she gave us a place to take our dog off leash to throw her ball to get some of her energy out. Would highly recommend this stop and when we are back in the area again, will definitely stay. Only advice is to come in from the Spokane side and not the southern side if you are a big rig. Google Maps will get you there either direction, just the road is set up a little different coming from the south. We have a 45' toy hauler and managed, but was much easier leaving going the north way. Otherwise was a very pleasant stay.

Genial host. She met me at the gate and gave me a tour at a late time in the evening. The property is well maintained. I liked the communal fire pit and a nice kitchen area. Firewood is supplied as well as marshmallow/hotdogs sticks/forks. I checked out the animals at the farm briefly. The goats were the friendliest. There are other activities in the immediate area that you can check out during the day. This place is close enough to Spokane and even Silverwood, so I am sure that I will visit again when I am in the area!

The site we stayed at was fabulous. It had a great view of the farm and the meadows yet it also had a nice view of the trees /woods that surrounded the area. There was a lot of activity yet it was also peaceful and serene. The goats and al pacas were fun to watch from our camp spot. Nice walks to go on. It is a dry camping but they have potable water if you need it (we did not as we brought our own) and they have porta potties as well. There's a lot to do here or just relax and rejuvenate. We had a great time and we will be back

I camped in my car. So easy to find a spot away from others. Brought my dog and he loved walking around the farm on a leash. Amazing hand pies and homemade apple sauce from the shop! The views were amazing and it was very peaceful. I would love to come back and stay again one day!

Such a nice little treasure! I wish the fruit trees had been in season, but we came in the springtime. We had our camper van and a tent. It was a great spot to set up camp. The kids enjoyed the baby pigs, chickens and goats! We felt safe and enjoyed ourselves. We will stay again if we ever head this way!

Wolf Lodge Campground

Wolf Lodge was a very central location and a nice RV park. We had a couple hiccups at first (the grass around the cabin had not been mowed for quite a while) but the management team stepped up and took care of our concerns quickly. The only criticisms were the floor of the cabin could’ve been cleaner, and there were a lot of dead bugs inside but everything else seemed clean and it was comfortable once we got everything plugged in. There’s no shower in the cabin, but the camp showers are very clean and nice. Overall, I’d recommend if you’re looking for a rustic campground experience!

Weekend Trip to Glacial Ridge RV Park

We had a great weekend at Glacial Ridge! The site was very easy to get to and the layout provided plenty of space for backing in our 35 foot travel trailer. Located just outside of Hayden it was a great spot for a lake trip as well as Silverwood. No trip to this site is complete without visiting the goat pen! Our kids made it a point to visit a few times a day. Norman and his wife were great hosts and let the kids visit with the goats during their evening meal. If you're stuck on where to stay for a weekend while in the area this is the place to be! Look forward to getting out there again soon!

Camp within the luscious fruit tree rows, in the middle of a vibrant pumpkin patch or even in the petting zoo! Animals welcome! IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW: We are a real working farm, not like a romanticized IG version of a farm. There are tractors running, sprayers making applications, farm animals loudly enjoying life, day customers picking fruit, and farmers about early in the morning. With that being said, we understand that experience may not be to everyone's liking. Be aware that if you do decide to camp here be ready for a real farm adventure! Another little tidbit: to grow food, we try to maximize the amount of sun it receives- SHADE IS VERY LIMITED. ALL CAMPSITES ARE U-PICK, there are no designated spots. Let your creativity shine and choose as dope a spot as you like! If you're scared of driving off a paved road or frightened by the natural world we suggest glamping at another lovely Green Bluff location. Starting SEPTEMBER 23RD until OCTOBER 31ST every weekday we host hundreds of school kids on the farm. They start arriving around 9:00 am. If the sound of children's laughter drives you absolutely insane, you might think twice about booking a stay with us in the fall. Winter camping is available, please note we typically receive a lot of snow. Early spring is the extreme mud season, please be cautious of our soft ground and stick to the roads. July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. Farm=Dirt MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS. No Side by Sides (UTV's), dirt bikes, or ATV's allowed to be rallied on the property. We can suggest close spots to rally.
