On6Acres

3 sites · RVs, Tents6 acres · Buhl, ID
This is a private piece of property located just a few minutes from the 1000 Springs area known for its crystal clear waters and natural hot springs. Come play in the area and camp on your own private acreage at night. We have 3 designated tent/truck or car campsites at the moment. We will be developing a few RV slips soon and geothermal pools so please watch for that in the future! Learn more about this land: Hagerman / Buhl / 1000 Springs Area. Tired of large commercial campgrounds? We understand. Camp with privacy and space. On6acres is a lost piece of private ground in the Snake River Canyon only 10 minutes from boat launches and hot spring baths in the Thousand Springs area. A 6.5 acre sloping desert with canyon views, ponds, native plants and trees. Including turkeys, deer, eagles, hawks, fish, rabbits, lizards, otters, and many other wild animals. **This is a natural, untouched, raw property. ******Please set your expectations correctly. Right now the experience is much closer to actual camping experience rather than a commercial campground but with the benefit of only being 10 minutes from the river in one direction and 10 minutes from town in the other direction. Come stargaze with very little light pollution and enjoy the quiet nature around. There are no amenities other than 3 designated/private spaces to pitch a tent or pick-up/van campers and a professionally maintained outhouse. Respect the property, and the wildlife and ecosystem it supports. We are happy to share the space while we continue to grow and develop this awesome piece of ground. ********For everyone's safety and to respect our neighbors quiet hours & privacy that surround the property there will be no check in's after 9PM**********

Rivers Edge Retreat Near HotSprings

3 sites · Tents1 acre · Buhl, ID
Learn more about this land: Pitch a tent or pull your camper van down to our gorgeous riverfront bench! *Please note we can only accommodate 22' TOTAL length of vehicle and trailer* This property sits lower than the main house so it's a private location right on the river! Miracle Hot Springs and 1000 Springs are both within a couple miles from us. Box Canyon hike and other hikes are also accessible from our place. Bird watching is incredible and you can explore as much nature as you wish! You are welcome to fish off the banks too! If the weather is nice, we also have a canoe onsite. There is a potable water spigot at the main house, and a porta potty on site at the river. If you are looking for recreational activities, restaurants, tourism, etc., please visit; https://visitsouthidaho.com/ and https://visitidaho.org/regions/south-central/ https://www.kayakblueheart.com/rental-services For information on fishing please visit; https://idfg.idaho.gov/sites/default/files/seasons-rules-fish-2022-2024_0.pdf#page=22 *We have lots of native grasses and brush that do not get irrigated therefore, we do not allow campfires (even in receptacles).* **We cannot accommodate LATE ARRIVALS, sorry! Our camp is hard to find in the dark and we've had too many people get lost. Please arrive to camp before dark, thank you!! **Note: Maximum TOTAL length we can accommodate is 22' (vehicle AND trailer). Perfect for tent camping, campervans and very small trailers. This is due to the narrow turn around radius. If you are pulling a small trailer, make sure you feel comfortable turning around and backing up. *If the weather is rainy in the 2 days prior to your arrival, we may need to ask you to cancel your booking. The driveway to camp and the camp area are not suitable when the grounds are wet.*

Pasture Oasis, Tent & RV Camping 🏔

10 sites · RVs, Tents100 acres · Shoshone, ID
Learn more about this land:Welcome to our pasture oasis!  Our property is 4 miles down the road from BLM, where you are able to do any outdoor activities you desire. Personally, I love to ride horses and hike there. You may be greeted by horses or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account).  If you are a horse or dog lover, you are able to interact with our animals on the property! I am on the property, as well, for any questions/issues/concerns. There is a runoff river that runs through the property but rarely has water. We like to use it for campfires instead! Please reach out with questions and we look forward to your visit!

River, stream, or creek and dog-friendly camping near Twin Falls guide

Overview

On the surface, Twin Falls looks like any other southern Idaho town. Look closer—tucked into the plains, you’ll find breathtaking canyons, hot springs, and booming waterfalls. Sine all of this natural beauty is off the beaten path, you can enjoy camping without the crowds.

The secret is the Snake River, which has carved a massive canyon in the flatlands around Twin Falls, ID. Take in the view of the spectacular local golf course from the Perrine Memorial Bridge. Be sure to keep an eye out for BASE jumpers making the 486-foot leap. In the spring, watch the mist rise from the massive Shoshone Falls.

You’ll find a few private RV parks and tent camping options in and around Twin Falls. About an hour away, Three Island Crossing State Park offers pull-thru sites with hookups. This Oregon Trail campground overlooks the spot where pioneers once forded the Snake River. Be sure to visit the interpretive site and check out the disc golf course.

East of Twin Falls, Lake Walcott State Park has 40 campsites and 2 cabins. Bring your ATV and ride the trails, or fish for rainbow trout from the shore. About 90 miles away, Bruneau Dunes State Park offers year-round camping. A short walk from camp, hike up 400-foot sand dunes and ride a sandboard back down.
