We lucked into a charming country home on a calming 2.5 acres. We are surrounded by 80 foot cottonwoods, with deer bounding through the neighborhood, owls frequently hooting and pheasants calling for a mate. This home is a dream come true for us! In the course of this lifestyle change, we stumbled upon the idea that we could own alpacas, one of the softest animals in the world, and our numbers are growing with crias (baby alpacas) due each year! Join us for some peaceful tranquility at Windbreak Farm Alpacas, where if the wild winds of Idaho are blowing, you can still enjoy the outdoors!
Pull your camper into the quiet serene grounds of Windbreak Farm Alpacas, our camp site is shaded from the afternoon heat by 80’ cottonwoods, and the alpacas, and especially dogs will Love to Welcome you to our little piece of paradise! While you’re here discover the surrounding area's vast options for outdoor play, all within a 5-60 minute drive. We have water available to fill tanks and power is available in “Extras” for $10 per night. We also have room for 1 more small camper up to 4 vehicles in the same party. If you would like to book the second camper, message me and I can open up a second site for the same party. Please check in before 8:30pm.

We would like to welcome travelers from all over the world passing through Ashton, Idaho en route to the many attractions such as Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Mesa Falls, Cave Falls, St. Anthony Sand Dunes, Island Park, and so many more.
We aim to offer the kind of environment that is as relaxed and as comfortable as if you were staying with family. You are staying with family, our family.
Pull up a chair in the shade of the lilac trees and read a book, sip on lemonade and gaze at the silhouette of the Grand Tetons. Share your day’s fish stories around the campfire, and even put that whopper rainbow trout you just caught on Henry’s Fork on our outdoor grill. After spending the day at Old Faithful we hope you will return to us in the evening to your peaceful, quiet spot and enjoy the starry skies above, or snuggle up in your bunk and enjoy a movie with the family.
We have on-site laundry facilities and showers for those messy trips to the St. Anthony sand dunes. (Showers and laundry for our guests only)
The Jolley Camper offers play areas for the young and young at heart and plenty of space and facilities for your family reunions, company or church picnics, wedding shower and receptions,
or group retreats.

The Mini Moose is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood just off highway 20. It offers more amenities and conveniences than a hotel while adding the tranquility and privacy of your own mountain retreat! After a busy and crowded day in the park, escape to the Mini Moose where you can, BBQ, build a campfire, play cards, do some rock painting or just simply relax and enjoy the mountain air after a fun filled busy day in the park.
Location:
The Mini Moose is centrally located in Island Park. It's two miles from a gas station/store, bank and post office, with several restaurants and lodges within 5 miles.
Enjoy nearby trails and fishing or schedule a lazy river float down Big Springs. You will also find maps, books and local area suggestions upon your arrival.
The space
The Mini Moose is a spacious 325 square feet with a small loft for additional sleeping. I designed the space with Yellowstone travelers in mind. It's equipped and decorated to create a fun experience. because I want your accommodations to be as memorable and unique as the park you've come to see.
Guest access
Your adventure begins the moment you leave Island Parks buzzing highway 20. You will be on dirt roads for about 2 miles. The roads are well maintained and do not require 4 wheel drive but they can get a bit muddy during the rainy season. Please be mindful of the posted 15 mph speed limits along the way.
Other things to note:
There are three structures on the property: The Treetop Loft, the Tiny Timber your Mini Moose. Each building has a sign, its own entry codes, its own designated parking and ample space for privacy. The neighborhood is amazing. It's safe, well maintained and full of friendly seasonal locals. You wont feel like a tourist here!
