We are a small ranch. You will see us getting our show horses ready to show or get ready for a cutting, irrigating, feeding cattle or horses and working on the property in any way it needs. Our property is situated on a hill so you will see a beautiful view of Squaw Butte and lots of sunsets.  
Less than 5 miles from BLM land. 

We have a variety of spaces available. For RV's - one gravel drive with 30 amp and water (no sewer dump) 
Other spots without out electrical hook ups. We will help you find the best spot upon arrival.

Sweet Pepper Ranch's Glamping Tent

Sweet Pepper Ranch is a horse ranch nestled between a town and country.  We raise mustangs and Quarter Horses and teach the Western discipline of ranch riding. We manage our land in an eco-friendly horse manner--composting/manure management, non-toxic pest control, pasture management with rotational grazing, drought-tolerant native landscaping, mud and dust control, wildlife enhancement, equine enrichment--and more!

We also offer farm tours, RV/LQ parking, and horse motel accommodations.

Guests are invited to enjoy our solar heated pool, outdoor patios, wireless internet, evening bon fires (weather and time-permitting),  horse farm tours (by appointment only, separate fee) and our friendly ranch atmosphere.

Coffee and fresh, local bakery pastry included for breakfast, brought warm to your tent at about 7am.

Sweet Pepper Ranch is a small-scale horse ranch in the high desert of southwestern Idaho. We are nestled in a rural agricultural setting yet close to stores and conveniences. We raise and train horses and work all day to  exercise and train our horses as well as run the day-to-day aspects of running a large horse property.

Our equestrian facilities include individual paddocks with attached runs (12’ x 52’), automatic waterers, feeders, rubber stall mats, a 200' x 300' outdoor sand arena, a 72’ x 120’ indoor arena, two round pens (one large), numerous trail obstacles, large-scale permanent outdoor obstacles, an outdoor washrack, as well as parking, port-a-potty, arena bleachers, and picnic table areas. 

Nearby activities abound from visiting rodeos and wineries to trail riding at sunset near waterfalls or hiking painted desert canyons. There are wildlife refuges to visit, hot springs to relax in, wilderness mountains to explore, scenic rivers to raft, railways to travel along--and North America’s largest concentration of breeding raptors to dazzle you.

They love people. especially people w/ treats! They will be in their own yard but feel free to hang out w/ them.

Kingswood Ranch

Just 1-1/2 miles from exit 3 off the 84, Kingswood Ranch is not only a stop for weary travelers, but was created to be a haven for our Military and First Responders. We are a 501c3 facility.   We are in the middle of farmland where cows moo and&nbsp;corn grows tall. Just 12 minutes away from Ontario OR. should you need shopping.&nbsp; Walking distance from a working dairy if you ever wanted to see one.&nbsp;We have a 90x130 riding arena, should you be hauling horses yourself and need to let them out. Our horses and dogs are available for petting/grooming should you not have any. Fire pit, outhouse, BBQ and picnic table is onsite. Freeway noise an issue for some.

Butterfield Farms

In the early 1900's three sheep ranchers--August Broderson, James Fisher, and Isaac Leighton--each purchased residential lots in Weiser and built brick homes designed by Idaho architect H. W. Bond. This&nbsp;property, which we named Butterfield Farms, was built in 1915&nbsp;by August Broderson, who emigrated from Germany to the US in 1892. The Broderson family lived here for decades and were a prominent family in Weiser history.&nbsp;Learn more about this land:The campsite is located on our small family-run farm in Weiser, ID. Our 2 1/2 acre historic farm is located in the heart of town, so you have the best of both worlds: easy access to town amenities, and a restful retreat in nature at the end of the day. Grocery store, seasonal farmer's market, coffee shop, eateries, library, and downtown shops are all within easy walking or biking distance. Weiser is known world-wide for its annual fiddle festival in June! Our campsite is within walking or biking distance of all of the Fiddle Week activities. Campsite is located underneath a large shady oak tree. Campers are welcome to use the fire pit when fire bans are not in effect. Electric hookups are located immediately next to the campsite, as well as a non-potable water source. Note that we are located in town and campers are required to observe quiet hours between 10pm and 8am and be courteous of neighbors.

Pick your camping spot around a secluded private fish filled pond.  Enjoy beautiful sunsets, fishing, swimming, and wildlife watching.  Fire rings and picnic tables at each spot. Located near snake river/Sunnyslope wine country, and golf course.  30 to 45 minutes from Boise but feels like you are away from civilization.  Pet friendly area and no nearby neighbors. Amazing opportunity to s t a r g a z e.  Although there is room for multiple campers, we have limited the reservations to 4 spots.  Drug free!
