Unlike hotels, at Cast-A-Way Cabins, we provide 3 lockable boat shelters equipped with power for charging batteries, lighting and water. Broyle’s Landing is only 1/4 mile away, Portman Marina is just 2.9 miles away and Green Pond Landing is only 5.2 miles away. If you're a Clemson Tigers fan, Clemson, SC is only 15 miles away! This cabin has a full refrigerator, sink, microwave, coffee pot, full size sofa, YouTubeTV, WIFI, 1 full bed with twin bunk, full bath. Beautiful log cabin built in the early 1930s; the front of the house originally served as a local bait shop. We have the largest lot on the lake and the best view. During the winter, you can even see Stone Mountain in the distance. The property features a large fire pit, a metal kayak, and a Jon boat for your use. Our lake is fully stocked with largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and bluegill. There are plenty of great spots to pitch a tent, and since we are situated on a hill, there is no need to worry about flooding. The Bait Shack includes one bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk bed (twin over full). There is also a large couch in the living room and an air mattress tucked under the bunk bed for extra guests. Interestingly, our property was recently used as a filming location for two of T-Pain’s new music videos!

Weekend Trip to Creekside Cabin - Lake Hartwell

We loved the cabin! It was easy to find. Elizabeth was easy to get in touch with to ask questions. The cabin itself was great, with the hot tub, the Pac-Man, The grill, and all the thoughtful amenities provided (there were toothbrushes and the kitched had all necessary cookware!) We did not make use of the firepit (maybe next time!) but there was firewood on-site if one wanted to have a fire. The only caveat I would offer others, the spiral staircase to get to the main bedroom is very narrow, might be an issue if you have larger, heavy bags but there is sleeping space on the main floor.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in nature. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully set up with all the amenities for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook meals easily, the WiFi worked great, jacuzzi was a nice bonus and the cabin itself was spacious and comfortable. Can’t wait to go back!

We enjoyed the remoteness of the location and only 20 mins away from the exit and general shopping/food. Everything was clean and worked well even in the cold during new years. It was a great relaxing time away from everything.

I have to say, this was hands-down the best organized, cleanest, easiest, most amenity-laden cabin I’ve ever rented. So many details, from the embroidered robes to the bound book of instructions and recommendations. From the kitchen appointments to the coffee. There are really too many amazing little things to list here, but you could really tell the owners absolutely care about the experience their property provides. And we went panning for gold in the creek below the back deck and even found a little! It was incredibly comfortable and lots of fun. Just make sure you’re ok with stairs and aren’t too large to fit the spiral to the loft. I honestly cannot think of a single improvement to make. Didn’t even matter that it rained so much, because there was plenty left to do inside.
