The sandcastle is a "glamping" tent. :-) Because it gets cold in the evenings, we have special insulation in the cooler months to keep you warm, along with duvet and blanket there is also a heater for winter and small ac for summer. The bathroom is private. It is VERY IMPORTANT that only toilet paper goes in the toilet. We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. We also have many fruit trees on the property. There is a pond for our ducks, and the intracoastal river that is just a walk down the street.Check out is no later than noon.Guests are encouraged to explore the 6 acre property, relax by the pond, on the deck or by the pool. I loved these trailers! We stayed for 3 nights/4 days. The campsite was super clean & cozy. It almost felt like camping in the 60's. The hot outdoor shower was a life saver in the cold weekend! There are trails to walk, horses to see, and a lot of peace & quite. I highly reccomend this place and will definitely be coming here again.

The firewood that was available made my stay, thank you Chad. Cut it SHORTER than diameter of fire rings please. It was so much better than hotel/motel. Coffee was excellent. Outdoor shower was great! hard to figure out how to operate, instructions would have helped.

This was our second time staying here and we would love to visit again! The Flaming Flamingo and the Lark were very charming and had everything we needed. Chad is quick to respond and provides clear instructions and a map of the property. Definitely take a walk around and explore!

The Dairy Farm and GlamCamp is all as-advertised. A little oasis on the edge of the city, with more than you need for a great glamping experience. Loved staying in the ‘64 Pathfinder, a well-restored camping trailer, clearly done by a craftsman with an eye for design, detail, and style. Fortunately the A/C works well, but I’ll look forward to coming back in cooler weather and staying in the Airstream in the Glam Camp ‘village’ across the way. Many thanks, Chad.

What a fun little place! The attention to detail, the surrounding beauty, the welcoming atmosphere, the quirkiness of the camper, the comfort, and the location are my top favorites. This is an absolutely perfect fit for someone who wants to see the sights, explore nature, or just relax at the site! I am so glad we found this place for our weekend trip. We are actually already planning a return and bringing other family members along who can stay in the other two campers.
We enjoyed morning coffee in the camper, Tybee Island, walking the trails, seeing the horses, riding our bikes to downtown Savannah and the riverfront, and local restaurants.
Budget friendly with so many onsite and nearby amenities. Oh, and the outdoor (private) shower was the best!

Just a heads up, and honestly it’s my fault for not looking more closely at the photos, but when they say the camper is close to the house, it’s CLOSE— pretty much against the side of their house. Definitely not a private place, but if that’s not a problem for you, it’s a quiet & safe spot to stay.
I’d love to come back and stay in the actual Glam Camp, but probably won’t stay in the Lark again just because of the proximity to the home.
TLDR: Good spot, just not secluded.

1 night at Glam Camp At The Old Dairy
This is my third one-night stay at this sweet and unusual place right in Savannah. I enjoy it every time. It is relaxed and there are people working with plants, horses, and I think sculpture also on the property. It's nice and quiet at night and I always take a rejuvenating walk on the gorgeous trails through the marsh, and get a decent night's sleep so I can get back on the road in good form in the morning.

4 nights at Glam Camp At The Old Dairy
My husband and I spent 4N’s the end of May in the Orient Express! Enjoyed every minute from the coziness of the airstream to the oh so close location to Savannah! Loved the beautiful creatures roaming the pastures, (horses)!! Best part….coming back to the quiet and peacefulness after the hustle bustle in downtown Savannah….The stay was PERFECT! Will recommend to friends!!!

The site is lovely - swimming pool, lakes with gators and birds, eagles flying around, nice facilities. It’s pretty self contained 30 mins from Hilton Head Island one side and 20 mins to Savannah another. We had a great time
