Peaceful spot for biking and hiking. Had a great couple days out there.

I was really pleased with this peaceful spot on the creek. The hammock was a great touch and the fire pit setup made it easy to relax without bringing a lot of gear. Bathrooms were super clean and easy to access. Loved the goats and walking trails—felt private but still close to town. Would definitely come back.

Cute, secluded treehouse in quiet woodsy area. Very comfy bed and adorable A-frame cabin. Hosts could not have been nicer and it was a great place to relax.

Weekend Trip to Henson Cove

We loved tent camping at Henson Cove with our three fur children! There was a lot of land for us to hike, fresh water, and a lovely pond to check out. Our dogs enjoyed running around and getting in the water as well. Would highly recommend Henson Cove and hopefully will be visiting again soon. Thank you to Ron and Pat!

Henson Cove is beautiful, relaxing, and a great place to camp! The hosts are very good people, helpful and they assure your stay is pleasant. The pond is very nice & full of bass, cats, bluegill & more. Relax on the island or one of many of the great spots around the lake in peace and quiet. The hiking trails throughout the property bring along cool adventures in the mountains. Ron even took us on a tour in his sxs around the property & too the lake to feed the fish! The flush toilets & electricity make this primitive camping area into a luxury. There is also a very nice shower with hot water. Henson Cove is worth the stay & we will be returning!

🌿 5 Stars for the Owl’s Nest in Clarkesville, GA! 🌿 We just returned from an unforgettable 4-day stay at the Owl’s Nest, and we can’t say enough good things about this little slice of paradise. Tucked away in the beautiful Blue Mountains of North Georgia, the property is peaceful, private, and absolutely gorgeous — the perfect spot to unplug and unwind. 🌲 Our host William was fantastic — incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and friendly. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel right at home and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The site is well-marked and easy to find: just follow the Hipcamp signs — the parking lot is on the right , and the clubhouse is on the left. When you see those landmarks, YEP — you made it! 🙌 We spent our days hiking to waterfalls (Hemlock Falls, Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi and Moccasin Creek State Parks), watching ducks and hawks, and soaking in the peace of the woods. 🦆🍃 We already can’t wait to come back in the fall to see the colors of the leaves and camp at the Owl’s Nest again. I actually extended my stay so this was my third night here and again I did really enjoy the quietness and the lake. Also, like that, there was a kitchen up top that was able to be used and I could charge my stuff during the day. I will definitely be back! Hopefully with my group! Only thing I didn’t like was the ants.

Weekend Trip to Nottely River Dome

Great accommodation, everything is clean, new and everything you need. Was very impressed with a full size dryer and washer if needed and the bathroom is so big. Also loved the outdoor areas for sitting and don’t forget your BBQ coals and some wood for the fire pit. Bed is very comfortable also, what you see in the pictures is what you get.

I loved this hip camp I even extended my night an extra day! I enjoyed the water views and that it was very peaceful. It very close to Helen, Unicoi and other places to hike or explore so awesome location. I am not really sure how it’s set up though….if the lake site numbers matter or if it’s just first come first serve but I enjoyed it. The owners and other people that live on property were nice! And they have a full kitchen thats shared with the people who live there and bathrooms shared with them as well. For a campsite it’s nice amenities. Also includes free fire wood which is awesome!

The lake is beautiful. The host is welcoming and supportive, and also around just enough to make you feel welcome. The "Owls Nest" has some interesting history which we still have to explore. My wife and I stayed overnight with our pets and two adult children. Use of the bathrooms and shelter were re-assuring. With pop up summer storms, we had a place to get to for cover. We used the kitchen for after meal clean up. Thanks!

Weekend Trip to Andy & Ana's Cute Little Farm

We LOVE staying at Andy & Anna’s rustic little farm. This was our third time staying there. The weather didn’t cooperate very well this time; we didn’t get to have a fire in the fire pit while we were there and there was some really bad weather for a minute but we never lost power in the cabin. We explored the property some when it wasn’t raining and played games we brought along inside the cabin when it was rainy weather. Andy and Anna provide games to play in the cabin if you don’t bring any with you. There are also some big wooden blocks (think giant Jenga sized blocks) that my daughter loves to play with when we are there. Every time it’s time to leave we want to stay longer! The small kitchen area has a microwave and a dorm fridge so it is a little challenging to make meals for 5 people (our group size) if the weather is too yucky to grill out. Luckily for us on this trip the weather cooperated long enough to make a couple of meals; the other meals we ate at a couple of restaurants. I think Andy & Anna’s rustic farm is a great blend of camping and GLAMPING (indoor plumbing for the WIN!) The hosts are super welcoming, friendly and helpful!

This camp is very interesting. I’d like to state I would stay again and loved the area. The signage for letting you know your down the right back road and private drive or even a sign at the “community center” letting you know you’re at owls retreat would be reassuring to say the least. Thankfully there was already campers there and when we pulled up we confirmed we were at the right location. There is not much order to the “spots” it’s more of a free for all. I’m pretty sure the spot I picked from the photos was taken when I arrived so we set up in another spot first night and moved to the better spot the 2nd night. Free firewood is a plus, the owner is a character but seems like an honest soul. There is a “community center” at the top of the hill that has 24/7 access to men’s/women’s bathrooms and a kitchen as well as a covered porch and seating. I believe there was a washer dryer but never used it. Clothes lines to hang wet towels etc, free firewood was a plus. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bathrooms. They seem to have been redone and in no way reflect the state of the rest of the property. It it all maintained but seems a little chaotic. The community center seems to have a few bedrooms that are rented out to tenants that live there permanently. So when brushing your teeth or going to take a shower you may run into extra people but all were nice. All in all I will stay again. This place does have skinwalker ranch vibes, in a good way

Head to the forest for your next magical treehouse getaway! Treehouse Mountain is a property designed with one thing in mind: relaxation. The property provides 30 acres of mostly forest land for guests to explore. It features four uniquely designed treehouses to fit any travelers needs, and is perfect for hosting groups and events! Here at Treehouse Mountain, our goal is to provide everything that we would want if we were to travel to other rentals. During your stay, you can find that we are readily available if there's anything we can help out with or want help planning your trip to the area as well. The bathhouse is a shared facility between three of the treehouses. It features two showers and two bathrooms (all separate rooms) and is fully climate controlled (warm in winter, cool in summer). It is cleaned daily, sometimes multiple times a day depending on usage. In the shower rooms, guests can find shampoo, conditioner, and body soap available for their use. In the bathrooms, there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and hair dryers available as well. The treehouses have been furnished with you in mind. All linens are provided (all bedding, kitchen towels, bath towels, etc) and additional linens are available upon request. Each treehouse has a kitchenette area, complete with sink, drip-pot coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sugar provided), toaster, microwave, and half-size refrigerator. There are additional items such as a rice cooker, water kettle, and some snack items provided as well. They each also have a Blackstone Griddle for cooking in an outdoor cooking area. There is a parking area for guests' cars. The paths on property are well-lit, so there's no need to worry if you arrive in the evening. You’ll love my place because It has three decks, one with a hot tub, it’s close to Tubing, Zip Lining, Wineries tourist activities and its in a gated golf development. the outdoors space, the ambiance, the neighborhood. Perfect for couples, families and big groups. The space You get the complete use of the whole house in the Innsbrook golf development in the city limits of Helen Georgia Guest access The development has a community pool, tennis courts and pickle ball courts. It’s right after you go through the guard gate. The guard can give you directions. It is in the section called the sports complex. They only area off-limits to guests is my locked owners closet. The rest of the house has complete access. Other things to note Questions I get occasionally from guests: one bedroom is on the main level. Once you get in the house it requires no additional stairs. 3 bedrooms have queen beds, the master has a king and except the lift has a daybed with a pop up trundle., usually it is set as twin beds. I have put the two together to make one king. The fireplace is a gas fireplace. The barbecue grill is charcoal. Ciffevmakers: 2 drip one keurig. Filters included bring your own coffee
